That's a real beauty. I don't think I've ever seen a 34' with a blue strip. I like that combo. Is she an Excella?

Like your dog's Airstream, too. Don't tell me you got that at Neiman's. He's too cool off on his camping trip.

Beautiful!
That's a great looking moho. If you get the chance to post some interior shots, I would be interested in seeing them.

There is one on my site with interior pictures. It also has a Cummins diesel but it was factory installed.
Airstream did make the blue exterior on some 1989 models. At least one of the 15 370's was also blue.

Just noticed the photo gallery where the cummings sales sheet says that Cummings and Airstream have been working together for nearly a 1/2 Century. That seemed odd to me given the fact that Airstream only made Motorhomes for a very short while....unless they count generator engines, but I never thought Cummings did that with Airstream......

Well Dennis, your unit sure does make a statement. Very neat looking and obviously rare. I must admit, though, I do like the puppy's rig quite a lot.
As for the Cummins long term relationship with Airstream I suspect they could be extrapolating off of the Thor component. I've got a buddy who works for one of their subsidiaries so I'll ask him to see what he can find out. It would be interesting to know - heck, maybe they were sneaking engines into Wally's TV's.

Thor was created at the time Airstream was purchased from Beatrice Foods. If Cummins was used in another Thor subsidiary, it would not have been associated with Airstream until Thor purchased the company since the two would not have had the Thor connection until after the birth of Thor and the acquisition of the product that used the Cummins product.
I would imagine any early association that Cummins has with Airstream would be as tugs in and around the factory or in factory equipment or in the tow vehicles in the WB caravans.

The Literature Says That "for Over A Half Century Cummins & Airstream Have Been Producing The Finest Products In Thier Respective Fields", Not That They Have Been Working Together That Long. Thanks Dennis Haws

Dennis, Just saw your MH. Beautiful rig. I just bought a 1987 345, but with the 454. The original owner ordered this coach with every available option except the diesel. II wish he would have gone ahead with it though.
