Question P30 swaybar bushings for 81 Excella 280

The Chevy dealer in Tucson who is fixing our tranny output seal leak noticed that the sway bar bushings were dry rotted. I said go ahead and replace those but the problem is their parts guy can't locate a P30 chasis part number for them. My question is, did Airstream do something custom with the swaybars or is this a standard Chevy/GM P30 part? Also if anybody knows the part number please forward.

Thanks,
Ken

Ken if its the sway bar frame bushing what counts is the diameter of the bar. Is the bushing the shape of a half moon? if it is it is the frame sway bar bushing. They are made for a 1 1/16, 1 1/8 ,1 1/4, and 1 5/16 dia bar. They are not hard to replace. In another life I was a Front End Mechanic. Anthony

Ken here is a link to Moog suspention parts the parts are a lot cheaper. Moog makes a good suspension part. Had to stop and think of the brand that I used to get fron carquest. Chevrolet 2WD P30 Motor Home 1981 non 4 Wheel Disk Brakes, Moog Suspension Parts. They also have for4 weel disk brakes

I believe all AS mo/ho units have four-wheel disc brakes.

Mike,
I'm pretty sure our 81 280 only has disc brakes in the front. I think the rear duallys are drum brakes.

Was going to recommend Autozone until I went to this site, excellent prices.

Don't forget to have the mechanics lube the upper idler arms; most don't know they exist.

Just FYI......

Argosy's for sure have rear drum brakes and possibly some of the early Classic's have rear drum as well. Our 84 310 has all disc brakes where our 74 20' Argosy has front disc and rear drum.
