New Tag installed and back on the road
Last fall I had a tag bearing fail on the 345, destroying the hub, and leading to a new tag axle. It has been a journey....
I am still looking for a 10-bolt hub, in the mean time I have had adapters made to go from the 8-bolt hubs now available to the 10-bolt wheels, keeping the rig looking pretty much as it was.
The adapters are my current solution, I am wide open to others! Such as:
- Leads on a 10-bolt hub
- Anyone ever welded and re-machined a hub successfully?
- 8-bolt wheels of the same size and appearance on my Alcoa's?
All thoughts appreciated.
