New leak #2 81 Excella 280 TD

I have oil dripping from what I believe is the crankcase breather hose on the bottom left side (street side) of the 6bd1t turbo diesel. I never noticed it doing this before. It is not very much but I hate leaving spots in the road (at least in front of our house ). Any ideas on what causes this? It was sitting for a while and when it was run it was not really driven. The oil pressure did seem higher then the last time I had done any Interstate driving but I attributed that to the cooler weather. It was mid August in AZ on my previous drive. Cause for concern?

Thanks,
Ken

How many miles are on the engine? I'd be thinking turbo or hydraulic hose leaking, check your power steering fluid and oil.

Mike,
Good question. I was just going over the previous owners maintenance records and I'm going to guess over 120K on this engine. Maybe a lot more. The speedo was replaced at ~138K miles. The original engine was replaced with a 6bd1t from Isuzu.

You should not have blow by; check those other hoses and come out to Ajo for a visit.

Everything checks out OK. The engine is an 89. Tag is stamped 9/89. We have been discussing coming down to Ajo for a visit. If we get everything sorted out it would be after the 4CU New Years rally at Picacho Peak.
