Need help: Leaf spring U bolt lengths on 82 310

Hello,

I'm rebuilding my rear end and don't have the old U bolts anymore. Can someone help me and measure the length of the U bolts that holds the leaf springs in place?

BTW, the leaf springs are 22-617HD? Can someone confirm?

thank you very much for your help!

Best regards

Clemens

They do have 1.25” of thread below the nut so you could go a little shorter.

The width is 2-5/8”

2-5/8 between them, not center to center.

Thank you very much! That is a great help. I will order 11" because I suspect I need the extra thread to compress the springs. When I cut old U bolts the springs kind of jumped.

Hey
They will need to know total length of ubolt
How thick it is
How wide it is measured between the threads
Do not order these u bolts from northern tool or some place like that you want a high grade u bolt look for a spring shop heavy truck repair shop it will be fine threaded the nut will be tall the washers will be a lot thicker than a hardware store washer they will be a dark gray color not shiney . You buy cheap you ll lose that axle when they RIP the threads or just brea km. Dj
