Highly dubious Nick.....

By 1989 we were into the Shuttle missions and they were all support by 24ft Excella's. They even still have one at Kennedy; I took these photos last time I was there, they have both now moved out to the visitor center.

It looks like this NASA airstream was more extensively modified than the astrovans, with a suite of antennas and sensors on the roof, along with a bunch of equipment inside. I can make out an anemometer, numerous antennae, PA speakers, and who knows what else.

Wonder if the new owner is just going to trash all that.
