Hi
Cool, i have all informations for my grey paper (tittle of RV )
I spend a lot of time on my RV, and I begin to understand how everything works, it's cool. I found small failures that I will repair. Especially with the isolator, which puts me worries on the batteries. The air conditioning works well, the generator works well too, oven, fridge as well. I still have to test the water circuit.
I have a problem with the front airbag , is that someone could put me a link on ebay to buy ? it's easy for buy international whit ebay.
I also have to check the system for the rear airbag, because the control system does not work, it works by dip switched but does not regulate the pressure.
Do you know what pressure there should be in the front and rear airbags?
Thank you for the clarification.
During the month of February, I begin the polishing, and then, I attack the cosmetic inside.
See you soon

55psi. Google the site for Firestone bags and you'll find some guidance I posted some time ago.

I think I used these people. They ship to Europe and might even have a distributor in France, so would drop them a line.

Hello everyone
I managed to restore the electricity properly, everything works, I put back the original alternator after having reparated, but I found that the air pump was disconnected, the belt does not feed it not.
What is the action of the air pump?
Looking at the manual, I understand that it is for the cooling oil of the gearbox, but in visual on the engine, I do not understand the function, I do not see how it can circulate the oil in The gearbox.
I also noticed a problem on a small pipe in the carburetor, I think it is for the warming system for the automatic choke.
In short, now that the electricity is correct, I will attack the mechanics

My coach had an air pump, also known as a smog pump, as part of the pollution control system. It was belt driven. If it's the same pump, it was probably found to be faulty and somehow left out of the belt routing. Should not affect performance, but the carburetor problem may. Please do not attack the mechanics too fiercely, they fixed your alternator.

I would recommend that you get the part number off the pump and then identify what it is doing. My money is with Waipo Rim in that it's part of an old smog system. Get the part number and google it. It will probably be on the forum. If not google it with P30 454 and something will probably come up. If it's the old smog pump, you no longer need it unless you have tight emissions rules there, which seems unlikely.
The tranny cooler is usually situated in front of the front grill, or at least mine is. It's air cooled.

Sorry, I did not want to attack the mechanics, I just wanted to say that I was going to start engine work. I translated from French to English, but the French expression does not mean anything after translation

Hello While my mechanical parts cross the Atlantic, I begin to work on the inside. I want to change the floor, the carpet was really very dirty. But the front living room had already to be dismantled because the carpet was stuck underneath, so I have to dismantle at all.I will have to change some piece of wood floor !!
I will also change the heating and water heating system Will put a modern, more compact, and more economical system in gas. The LPG system will be dismantled because before shipping we have to empty at all, and the tank will not meet European standards,
so I would feed the system by conventional gas cylinders.I have to dismantle the kitchen to change the heating, so I will take advantage of it to change the cooking plate, and redo the complete system of the water circuit, still a few weeks of work !!

Hi Steph there is a very simple way to keep the LPG cylinders on a MH.
There is a 4 port valve available from Camco which installs before the tank regulator (on the outlet of the tank). This comes with a 10ft HP hose which allows a cylinder to be connected. Because the tank has a valve on the outlet, if this is closed and the hose connected, no gas goes back to the tank and the cylinder supplies the appliances.
Because it is 4 way (from tank, to regulator, from cylinder, out to external appliance) you can run a standard gas grill or campfire (most have their own regulator built into the gas control). I have this on Bella and there is also one at Brad's to go in Peanut. To give an proof that it works, all the time Bella was in the US we used cylinders because the tank etc was brand new and would have to have been certified as empty for shipping. When we shipped the agent could see the tank still had the original seal (never used) and so we did not have to get the certification.
Doing this means you also keep the original cylinder in case a future owner wants to use it.

That is the original converter (transformer) for your coach. Converts 110v ac to 12v dc. It feeds your 12v circuit panel. The bare copper wire that goes through the floor is the converters ground to frame. Since you are in EU, you may want to look and Martins Argosy Rebuild thread to see what he did to meet his electrical needs in the U.K.

OK thanks for your reply, when the mohos is not connected to the 110 v, does that mean that part of the 12 V installation does not work? Or the batteries take over? All the rest of the installation works in 110 V, in France the network is 220 v, so I will put a transformer 220/110 on my network plug

I think that is your converter plus 12v distribution board.
You need a new multi stage charger. I got one from Sterling power. I can recommend them. They are used extensively in marine. You can pick them up reasonable cheaply on eBay.
You'll need a converter for the 110 circuit if you are retaining that kit. I can recommend airlink transformers. Get one with soft start.
And a modern fuse board/circuit breaker
Hope this helps

Please make sure you use a transformer that is rated for constant use Steph, the regular 'yellow box' transformers are only rated for site work (to drive 110v power tools - when needed). They are fine for testing but shouldn't be used constantly.
