Motorhome Remodel

How come the winter took so long to get over and I got so little done? Got about 1/3 of my "to-do" list done for the winter. Ripped out carpet, installed rubber flooring with insulation under it. New captain's chairs, barrel chair and couch! New cellular blinds and drapes front and rear. Getting ready to hit the road! Also installed marine 3 stage battery charger. Two life line batteries. Plus, 200 amp hi output alternator. Took it for a test flight yesterday. All systems working! Getting ready to go to our summer job which is east of McCall Idaho! Regards, see you in the fall!

Umm, is Sandy the one lying in repose on the couch in photo #1?

Hi! Thanks for your interest. I dealt exclusivly with Bradd & Hall out of California. The Cap'tn Chairs cost $960.00 in Ultra Leather and we are so happy with them and the personal service we received from Brendan, our sales associate. We shopped around but everyone else tried to sell us what they had in stock. We sent the numbers from our old chairs and the rest of the furniture, and they sent it ready to install and it all fits perfectly. Regards, Phil and Sam

Very nice looking work Phil. I really miss those mind Mountain Home winters. What do you do in McCall, if you don't mind my asking.

East of McCall

We hope this will be our last winter in Mountain Home. Our kids are being transfered to England, so no more babysitting, or trips to the store for diapers! The job we do is for the Forest Service on a fire-contract. I maintain the helicopter, and my wife, Sam, drives the fuel truck and trailer as my back-up. We live in our Airstream motorhome with our 2 dogs, and Sam's plants! One of the greatest summers I ever had was in Camp Perry, Ohio. See you on the road. Regards, Phil and Sam

MoHo remodel

We do have a lot of room in here, but I am sitting at the dinette writing this to you. The old couch was special made for the coach. When we ordered the new one, we knew there would be extra space at the end, and figured the wicker basket was the way to go for additional storage and an "end table". It works great. As you probably know, full-timers have to take advantage of every bit of space. Regards, Phil and Sam
