Monarch 9074/75 and Grote 90742 lens replacements

Anyone have any luck finding these lenses? Seem to be unobtainium.

Two of mine are cracked beyond usefulness and I need to replace them.

This might be as close as you can get. Not found anything for the center light with the clear lens for the back up.

Unfortunately that is out of production as well. I found 3 different lenses that would have fit that are no longer available. Had to buy a set of complete tail lights on eBay to get 4 lenses that will match. Could make some money printing these I bet.

I contacted LED4RV about the other replacement lens, SKU2621, and this is what they said.

Chris
The company does not make them anymore.
This is why we came up with the LED tail light kit.

Looks like pickings are getting very limited for the tail light lenses!!

UPDATE: https://colawrv.com/ does have the 9074 and 9075 lenses!!! NOS. If you want them I would call them because the supply was limited and I just bought a bunch to replace mine.

Forgot about, Colaws they are great folks! Have been there a couple of times over the last 20 years!

They do not have anymore of the 9074's, but do have the 9075's in stock.

Great find Mark!

Aren't the 9074's just the all red lens that were replaced by Grote 92792?

Yes but those replacements are obsolete as well. There is another lens from AS that fits but that is Obsolete too.

Those are not the right size. They are bigger than the Monarch 9074/9075 lens. I started with 6 of those. I will send them to you if you want them

Correction to above statements. The Grote replacement is 90742. This is obsolete. The Grote 92792 is too big.

I think you would have enough interest for a small batch. I haven’t seen any reproductions yet.

Here is one option from LED4RV.
I have purchased other items from them and had great results, but not these.
This is one kit that is direct wire, no cans or lens needed.
They also have one that uses the can, no lens needed.

I have made a silicone mold, and some trial recreation lenses. I put this on hold because the weather makes my workshop too cold to do resin projects in the winter. I am about to get back in to this... since this point, I have also made other molds for other irreplaceable plastic parts in my '75 Tradewind.

My light lens is a bit "deficient"... I forgot to make indexing points on the mold, so I must align things carefully when I place the two parts together and place in the pressure pot. I may remake my mold, ultimately... will only take an hour or two, and make the 6 good castings I need to get a lot easier!! I will likely cast in translucent red when I am ready. I have clear prototypes on the curb side right now (riddled with bubbles, though).

I was 'rummaging' through my spares box this morning and found a couple of near new 9075 lens (reflector with a clear center). The were fitted to Bella for around 12months before she shipped to UK. Not sure if they are of use to any one?
