Microwave replacement
The problem with the microwave is the popcorn output . Mr. Redenbacher only pops about half the bag and burns . I have tried many times with the same result . This is a very important problem , what's camping without microwaved popcorn . I love smoked pork and can live with smoke popcorn ... but . So I'm thinking about replacement , so which one do you all think would do Mr. Redenbacher justice , something simple and easy . . .LOL

If you want good popcorn. Get a "Stir Crazy". It will take you back to the days of "good" theater popcorn.
I have 2. One for the house and one for the coach. I only buy Orville Redenbacher.

I had trouble popping Orville in my Sharp Convection Micro. Half popped and burned. Broke down and read the manual. It said to put the bag on an inverted bowl. Like Magic. Popcorn!!

If you look on the bag it will tell you not to use the Popcorn setting on your microwave. We have great results by setting the power to 70% and the time for six minutes. Hit start and stand by and listen. It will take nearly two minutes to start popping. When popping slows to one or two seconds between pops, open the door to stop the microwave. For us, this usually results in fewer than 20 unpopped.

Try popping a bag from the same box in a different microwave first. I once bought 2 boxes of popcorn that burned in any microwave, even ones that popped bags good. You might have bad corn, not a bad oven.
