If you are talking about a moho you must be redefining FAST.

I'm in, I'll even throw in a fuel filter change.

Well....speed is based on your point of reference and my point of reference would be the diesel that I'm passing

This is getting more expensive and labor intensive than I had originally planned. I think I'll hold pat and see if Dan actually follows through with his offer

OK but I have to ask when was the last time your Argosy passed a diesel?

Definitely both fuel filters, I'll even put the oil filter in right side up.

Hmmm....a little 7000lb 20ft'er drag racing a 12000lb smoker? I would have no hesitation taking that challenge even with Bella's little 350, let alone Peanuts 454!

You do realize the stock hp of the diesel is actually the same as the 454? Now add many years of hp loss due to compression, plugs valve seals etc, etc and I'm guessing I've probably retained more hp than an equivalent vintage Argosy/AS 454.

At least when I blow smoke it's a good thing (keeps the bugs down as Bob says).

Cheers
Tony

Similar power, half the body weight to move, still a no brainer from my point of view.

Martin, suffice it to say these diesel guys have been inhaling to much of the bug repellent they've been spewing out

My My are we having yet? Seems to be a bit of rivalry between the gassers and us oil burners.

I do have a Vette and a Jag for when I feel a need for a bit of speed. I also have a 12 hp Citroen 2CV and three 20 hp Model T Fords that provide a great deal of fun. I do not look to a moho for speed but rather transportation to interesting places and somewhere to cook my steaks and keep my beer cold and a place to rest my body after I have consumed them.

The interesting thing is all the modifications, EFIs, 502s 8.2s, Duramax and other stuff are being done to gassers. The old Isuzu oil burners, as slow as they may be, just keep rattling down the highway.
