Lynn is still trying to find her rhythm with the whole retirement thang. Its pretty funny actually. Her job was our last tie to the whole 9-5 Monday thru Friday world. Literally checking our phones now to double check what day it is. We like it!

Hahaha, Mike, can't fool me. So the house just happened to get a new walkway and stairs, whilst the 310 got a new driveway. Slick, man

I'm thinking about changing out the rear shocks on the 310. They aren't broken and honestly I don't know what condition they are in from just a visual inspection but the rear end seems awfully stiff when going over bumps. Air bags are good with new compressor and such. My rig has dual rear shocks, is that the typical setup on the p30? Poking around online I couldn't find any pictures or reference to dual rear shocks on a p30 but my 310 has em.

Mike, dual rear shocks doesn't sound right. I believe all the motorhomes had one shock per side.

Another thing to look for when it comes to a stiff ride in back is your tire pressure. When we first got the 310 and while driving it home the ride was great. Then while parked overnight we had a flat on the left inner dually and had a mobile truck service replace the tire. When they did so they inflated all the rear tires to around 95 psi. The ride at that point was horrible. Rough and jarring. I then deflated the rear tires to around 65 or so and the ride was back to what it was before. Afterward I looked into tire pressures and determined that 60 to 70 psi in the rear tires was about right for the 310. Tire choice might change those pressure numbers a little.

We also had compressor issues on that trip but that manifests itself as a somewhat different problem.

Huh. Sorry Mike but it's too wet for me to go outside and look under my rig.

Do you mean dual shocks on both sides of the axle? If you do it's not unusual as my wife's Jag XJS has much the same setup, four shocks; two are typical shocks for bumps and potholes; the others stop axle tramp.

Going with Bilstein, Koni or Monroe?

Yeah, manned up and got wet; dog needed to go outside anyhow. I have only two shocks on my axle; left and right.

Brad is right about pressures; stock for the 310 was 70PSI all around.

Cheers
Tony

I agree with Brad on the possibility of a flat inner. If you were satisfied with the ride quality before I would get the manufacturer and part numbers off the ones you have and replace them with the same. Regards, Bob

No flats, I check my pressure every time out. OCD? Maybe I'm mixing terms but I've got a "regular" shock and an open coil shock on each side.

On each side, one is attached to the axle and one is attached to what looks like a sway bar.
