Mike....nice job on the WeBoost. I have had one for a few years and added a Pepwave this year as well. Between the two, I have blazing fast internet and can work from the road.

I sure will Steve. Hoping all is well there in Centennial. We haven’t been out to visit since last fall, hoping to be out in Fort Collins this late October-early November. This whole Covid situation has really made it hard to plan very far in advance due to how fluid things seem to be. For us anyway.
You come up in conversation now and again Steve. I feel sorry for you Colorado natives who have witnessed the extreme changes in your state due to the influx of soooooooo many people migrating your way. If you remember, I did my internship out in Longmont way back in 1980. Trying to explain to Lynn just how different it was back then. The entire “feel” of the front range is completely different now. It was so laid back and friendly, slower pace all together. The infrastructure up around FOCO seems like it is so far behind the growth. You’ve seen so much change, it’s got to be hard to witness it all. But, dats da way it is I suppose, can’t go back. Really good to hear from you! You stay healthy and safe!

TELL WILLIE HELLOOOOOO FROM US BOTH! Keep those those birthday parties under control!

Mike, I couldn't agree more about what's happened to Colorado. I lived there from 78 to 91 and loved every minute of it. In late 98 and part of 99 I had to spend time there for work and was totally amazed at how different it was. Population density was off the charts. I hated every minute of that period of time I spent there.

Howdy Fellas. It’s been a whole year since we have been able to get on the road for a longer trip in the 310. Life stuff just kept getting in the way. So we are about to take off for Colorado here in a couple days and plan to be on the road for almost a month, can’t wait. I’ve done some projects on the rig that I’m looking forward to putting to the test. We did take a short trip a few weeks ago up to the Chicago area and spent 3 days playing around at a couple state parks up there. The new rear shocks made a huge difference in the ride. You might remember that on my 310 that I’ve got 4 shocks on the rear axle. One pair per side. I have no idea when that modification was done but the bushings and the shocks were all really toast and I went ahead and replaced all four. Thought about going back to the OEM design but kept it as is. Boy, the improvement in the ride really surprised me. The new rebuild of the entire rear brake system was a joy also. The brakes feel soooo good now. Much safer and I have lots more confidence in our stopping abilities.
This trip I’ll get to put the mew cell signal booster to a good test. We will be staying at a few campgrounds where we have stayed before so it will provide a good comparison test for cell signal.
I have really missed traveling in the rig…..I just love driving that big old sucker. Nothing like the view from the cockpit with all that glass surrounding you.

Hey Mike......I don't know how long you will be in the area but, if you have some time, would love to meet up for dinner somewhere around the area......let me know. If not this time, maybe on the next trip out here. Travel safe!!

Hiya Steve. We would really enjoy that! If it works out that we get that far south I will send you a personal message and see what’s up. We have about a three and a half week period to be gone, including travel time. It goes so fast. It would be great to see you guys.

Settled in for the night in western Kansas near the Colorado border. The 310 is running great with no issues at all so far except for a propane regulator that went south two nights ago. Woke the next morning to a very chilly motorhome with no propane flow to appliances including the furnace. I was more concerned about going without my morning coffee than anything. Lord no! I lucked out and found a replacement at a farm store along US36 after stopping at several other stores. I was able to install the regulator there in the parking lot and it’s been fine since.
We will make one more stop before getting to Fort Collins. The weather has been kinda nasty with rain and cold temps. Really glad to have the aftermarket wiper delay switch in this weather.
The cell signal booster has performed really great. We use my phone for streaming tv at night and link it to a smart tv. Got all the football games and movies that we wanted. Should have pulled the trigger on that purchase a few years ago but finally got around to it.

Rolled into Fort Collins CO yesterday afternoon. 1000 mile trip from our home in Illinois and the 310 continues to roll right along without issue. This old Isuzu motor is pretty dog gone impressive. Great trip out, parked at my sons house here in FOCO for 5-6 days. I’m still in love with this old Airstream. Sure brings a lot of smiles to people’s faces.

Stopped for the night on our way back east. This little city park is one of our favorites along US36 in KS. It’s on the edge of Phillipsburg and sits up on a hill overlooking a horse arena and a city park. $15 a night with electric, water, showers, and dump station. Can’t beat the price. We have several of these little city parks saved to our maps. You’d never find them if you travel the interstates. We try our best to travel on US highways.Click image for larger version

That is a beautiful campground. I have relatives on my Dad's side of the family through that part of the country (Smith Center, Burr Oak, Mankato). It's a great drive!

Sorry we missed you on this trip...hope to see you guys again in the future. BTW...I now have 30amp service at the house if you need a place to stop again.

Rolled into Longbranch State Park in eastern MO about 60 miles west of the Mississippi River. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...V-qErr6EuVzFVC
They have some really beautiful state parks here in MO and they do a really good job maintaining them. We’ve stayed here before but it’s been 3 years or so.
We do most our traveling in the fall, winter, and spring so we can avoid the busy and crowded summer season, this year is no exception. This is a really big park and from our site we can only see one other RV down the road a bit. We love it! It’s like having the whole place to ourselves. Quiet and peaceful.

The 310 continues to perform so well. No list yet to take of when we get home….knock on wood. This old bucket of bolts just keeps rolling down the road. The Isuzu feels good and strong as ever. I do wish I had one more gear in the Allison 4 speed to lower my rpm’s but I make sure to keep it under 3k usually running at 2800 which gives me about 60mph. I’ll take it, we aren’t in any hurry.

Is there an oil shortage or what? Got back from CO yesterday and want to do an oil change while the weather is still reasonable. I always use Shell Rotella 5w-40 heavy duty diesel oil and can’t find it anywhere in town. Finally tracked down some 10w-30 Rotella which I went ahead and bought. I’m hoping to do another long trip south this winter so I want to get an oil change in now.
Is this a fluke or is oil in short supply right now?

Anything and everything is in short supply right now. What is even crazier is it what was plentiful last week is in short supply the next week. It's a strange new world we're living in now

Needless to say it's extremely frustrating at times!

Glad you had a safe and enjoyable trip

I hope it’s not affecting your progress too much Brad. Geeeezzzzz Louise I’m glad I’m not looking for any Isuzu motor parts right now. That would probably be impossible for this old bucket of bolts diesel?

I've managed to work around the situation for the most part. I've been left hanging a time or two but I've always got something else I can work on
