Looking for correct spark plug wires for 454

Hi all, Iíve been searching for the correct spark plug wires.
They have long section of hard rubber protector on the plug end. The part that attaches to the distributor has a 90 degree terminal with a protrusion on the top of that terminal That engages a ring that clips into the top of the distributor and secures the wires into the distributor.

Iím looking for the correct parts number for these spark plug wires.

Ive got a couple of pics to help you see what Iím hunting.

I don't think Jegs or Summit Racing have actual brick & Mortar stores, don't you have a speed shop or hot rod shop near you? Also check with a marine place if you have one, 454's were popular in speed boats. Or just order from Jegs and return if not what you want. I am familiar with the way they clip on to the distributor cap with the flat cover, had a few big blocks in my day, the ones in the pic from Jegs sure look like the ones.

Yep no Jegs stores around here. So it looks like mail ordering is in store .

I'm reluctant to keep ordering unknown parts by the look of them.

Anyone else know of the correct parts number for these wires.

Cheers Richard

I have Bosch 09603 wires on my 502. I bought mine from Amazon.com Should be the same as your 454.

Try rockauto.com
They offer Premium and often performance quality spark plug wires from various manufacturers.

I'm a retire GM mechanic and electronics was my specialty. I would go to a GM dealer and talk to the oldest parts man in the parts department. He should be able to find the proper wires. You should also think about a new cap and rotor.

I got all from Napa. Their home brand for wires, cap, and rotor. I went to AC Delco plugs.

These are the ones for my 1990 345LE according to our local parts store. They are obviously different than the ones in your picture but I'm sure the ring will still snap on the top of the distributor cap.

ACD part # is 9618V

GM # is 88862383

Hope this helps. Click image for larger version
