Kitchen sink water pressure
For some reason my pressure at the kitchen sink has gone down to a drizzle. I guess Ill start at the filter, but that is brand new. I replaced it just a few months ago because the water was slow. This brought the water back to something reasonable until just recently.
The other possibility is that I started using a filter at the spigot. Perhaps something with that is causing my issue? Pressure at the bathroom sink is just fine though.

Take the aerator end off the kitchen faucet and clean out the crud stuck in the screen.

I'm betting thats where the issue is. I added a filter system to my water intake hose to prevent getting junk in my lines. That will plug up a lot of stuff in the water system.

I had same issue recently. Tried as others suggested here - no luck. Contacted Moen for a new cartridge (they will send for free) and it took care of the problem for me.

Had same issue this week when I hooked up at Alumalina Rally. I use inline filter and screen, so didn't expect to find anything in aerator, but it had a lot of sand and grit.

Calcium deposits will get.past almost everything, but will settle where water is present but does not move. Half fill a stainless.steel.pan and.let.it sit in the sink for 3 days... you will become a believer. Dump the aerators in vinegar for 24 hrs.and the deposits will turn to easily removed powder. Old toothbrush can then remove the crud completely.

Yup. If you don't have one get a radiator key for your faucet to easily remove it.

Hah, I meant an aerator key. Showing my age. Anyone besides me know what a radiator key is for?

I took the 'filter' out of the faucet, and keep the aerator screen clean.
We don't drink tank water and have a two stage filter when filling.

Sigh. Yes. Used to open the manual air vent to bleed air out of the system at each radiator.

Wow! Finally was able to troubleshoot this issue and indeed it was the screen at the faucet! It was so clogged with crud, it was amazing it worked at all. Cleaned that out and now it works with filter and pressure reg in place.
thanks!
