I would be interest to know what and how they feel different, Bob?

On the subject of the Alcoa’s, I’m watching locally for the correct 10 lug 19.5s, but not seen any recently for a reasonable price. I wish there was a tire option that made 22.5s viable, even though that would mean adaptors.

I think I got to much rest over the weekend ! About the only thing I got done in Cooperstown was find the wiring or should I say broken wire to the front furnace thermostat ! A fairly easy fix when I have the 370LE up and going. Great weekend the 325LE performed awesomely there and back. I got back to the shop at 2, then put 4 hours in on the lawn, moved about 10 tons of #2 stone up the driveway then started working on the 370LE. Regards, Bob

Got the rims and accessories last night. If I have time next Saturday we will take the new front tires off the rims and put both brand new 761001 rims on the front. The existing front right is a 761003, which is polished inside and out. That rim will go on the left side drive axle, then all I need is one more for the tag axle. Regards, Bob

Congratulations on the find. Was curious if your center caps are held on with the lug nuts. I had a sales manager send me the centers for my front and rear Alcoa wheels which are held on by the lug nuts. They had some samples on the shelf sitting there since they do not carry them anymore for the wheels we have and sent them to me. He had never seen the type centers that was on mine with the 5 and 10 lug stud rings that the center pushed through. He wants pics of mine when they are mounted because he said I have their curiosity up now with 10 lug on rear and 5 lug on front. They have never seen them on a Airstream, he said he was not born when mine were made. Thought that was interesting.

Geez, don't get between Bob and posting pictures of his bling.

If I were the site team, I'd charged him double.

Cheers
Sidekick Tony

PS Very, very nice score for that price; you owe someone BIG!

I just ordered up the 6 Centramatics for the 325LE today.......thanks Pete for the part numbers....talking to them at Centramatics is almost as bad as going to the dentist and getting a tooth pulled ! In any event with the addition of the 2 brand new Alcoa rims I acquired last fall all I need is 2 more, one for the left rear tag axle and one for a spare. It’ll be time to take everything out of the shop in 2 weeks for spring cleaning. I’m going to sell the 325LE and the 396XL this year and I am seriously looking for a 94/95 classic diesel pusher. Regards, Bob
