Icemaker water supply

I have a 350LE which originally was equipped with a Dometic ice maker. As this unit was non-operational, I removed it and capped-off the water supply line. This worked fine until I winterized and forgot to bleed the now defunct line. The result is a fractured line. Although I can replace the small amount of copper piping protruding from the wall/chassis , I'd rather locate where the water supply feed is piped into the main water supply circuit. Despite repeated attempts to locate where this is, I've failed to locate it. Can any Forum Member assist with the location of this feed connection is located?

I know the refrigerator is located on the left side ( street side ) was the ice maker in the freezer or was it a stand alone unit mounted in between the barrel chairs ? Regards, Bob

Ice Maker water feed

Thanks bob..good to know your always there for us "novices". To answer your question, the original ice maker was indeed located between the two barrel chairs on the right side. i believe the stand alone ice maker was an "optional extra" on the 350LE models. The water feed pipe literally disappears down between the wall and the floor between the two chairs on the right hand side. From there?

I doubt they would run the water line through the floor but you never know. If you canít see it from below my only other guess is they ran it through the wall over the door to the sink. I would look for a connection under the sink if you canít find it directly below the floor underneath where it was originally located. Regards, Bob

Ice Maker water connection

Bob.My thinking as well. I also doubted that the water connection somehow ran under wall and through the chassis particularly as I have had a close look and can see no outlet for the copper pipe after it exited through the wall/floor. I've also looked under the sink and cannot find any "orphan" connections other than to the fresh water filter and instant hot water piping. Both are traceable. I also have a hard time believing that Airstream would run the piping over the door when there was a more direct route around behind the steps
If only there was a "circuit tracer" for water like the 12V supply!
Thanks for your thoughts.

You might try blowing compressed air in the mysterious line and
seeing where it comes out. It might be cutoff somewhere if
the PO had a problem with the ice maker.
