hydraulic jacks

Has anyone figured out a good way to get to the reservoir to check the fluid level and refill. We have a slow leak in our motorhome system that has not been isolated and the only way we find out is when we can only get one jack down, then we know the fluid level is low. Pictures if you have any PLEASE!!

You could tee off the bottom of the reservoir and install a clear hose that goes to a convenient place to observe the level of the fluid in the hard to see and reach reservoir.
The hose must be at the same level as the reservoir, and could theoretically go back into a fitting at the top of the reservoir, or have a breather filter at teh end to prevent dirt entry. Kind of like a remote sight glass.
This would only work if the reservoir does not carry any pressure.

well, in most systems, the reservoir feeds the pump, which has a bypass back into the reservoir, the pump feeds the valves, which in turn pressurize the jacks.
I imagine that your hydraulic system should be of conventional design.
You might be able to simply relocate the entire reservoir, to a more convenient place.
Maybe I shouldn't give advice, since I don't know much about motorhome jacks, but at the end, it's just a hydraulic system like many others.

You could determine the time between when you filled the reservoir and when only one jack went down, and then just add some fluid about 3/4 of the time in between. That and keep looking for the leak.
