High speed chassis

You guys have to read this........the description would make you think you were buying a Ferrari with a bar.

I need to get a more powerful diesel to take advantage of my high speed chassis.

https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/20931/lot/267/

Sold at WHAT???????

Cheers
Tony

The diesels in American pickups are, technically, "high speed diesels" (up to around 3000-rpm) meaning that there are those engines which turn but 60-rpm (the piston face is five feet wide).

It may be a term related to older definitions in England concerning trucks.

I would happily sell my rig for that price... then I'd buy another one and start over. :-D

I'm thinking yours would go for significantly more than that, given yours is one of 27 and a turbo diesel single axle; even shipping yours over the pond wouldn't cost more than a couple grand. It could be worth it...

Cheers
