Here's another 370
Thanks to a good friend on this Forum, I've been made aware of a 5th (to the best of our knowledge) 370LE still on the roads, although I'm sure there are more. It's on eBay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AIRST...QQcmdZViewItem.
Let me know if anyone buys this, so I can get in touch with them. We may end up having a special unit just for the 370s .
Best,

Tim, your numbers are growing. Pretty soon you'll start splinter cell and create you own D$%N forum!

Steven, I didn't set the price. It's not mine . I don't know much about eBay, but I'm assuming that "Buy It Now" figure is what someone asks in their dreams. Of course, it could be that the seller really doesn't know what it's worth. If it sells at that price I could sell mine and start a whole forum . I'm just the messenger, so don't kill me .

Tim,
Only 58 minutes left with two offers declined. I would love to see big numbers on classics. Seems like they have been trending downward lately.

Steven,
I had direct contact with the seller and the photographer who is handling the sale on eBay. As nice as this rig is, and it's unusual - even for a 370, I'm afraid there are several factors working against this sale. I can't go into this here, but suffice it to say that some advance price research would have been very helpful for these folks. I did the best I could, but couldn't get anywhere - in terms of advice. I think some relatively big numbers would be realistic for this coach, but not $65K. I am concerned about the downward trend, but I suspect we're in for that until the gas market settles, or we all get resigned to the high prices.

Nice coach but if he get's more than $40,000 I'd have to think about listing mine!
I wonder if gas keeps going up if it's not going to be a great buyers market in very short order on anything that runs on gas?
Perhaps he feels that as the little Interstate cost him so much a couple of years ago the 370 should be worth quite a bit.... I mean it is longer by a bit.
South of Raleigh .... back on the road.

I can certainly see top notch units justifiably getting $40K but you're bumping your head on used diesel pushers with one or two slides around $70.
It would be nice to see prices stay put but for what we pay overall (gas included) we still can't beat owning a classic.

$65K Buy it Now price...Wow!!!
The auction ended. His max offer (of the two he got) was $12K.
From my recollection, the '96 disiel classic motorhomes only bring $55k-$65K and they are disiels .

A very clean 370 was declared totaled back in the spring, and the owner got $37K from his insurance company. That's a little more like it for a clean one of these, IMHO. Anyway, eBay may not be the best place, the price was scaring serious buyers off, and some pricing leg-work would have been very helpful in this case.
