Help w/ window parts needed!

This is a sort of emergency. Our Iowa weather is supposed to have its last hurrah of warmth next week. We want to get the copilot window done (We can see daylight at the side, and the maps got wet. I have studied the threads on this and would be grateful for any recommendations on sources for parts and a look at the list to see what I missed. We are going to try to order today.
Many, many thanks!!!!

Rivets (Olympic?)

Rivet Shaver

Plastic Slide Channel (is this available?)

Fuzzy wiper and channel…Vintage Trailer Supply
Note: Someone recommended grey felt weather strip instead of fuzzy. Is that a rubber material that would be damaged by silicone recommended to keep windows moving freely?

What paint/paint color for window frames?

Window channel; adhesive?

Grey vertical wiper strip? (Have not seen any posts that someone found this. Any luck yet?

Weep Hole Covers

Anything else??

It may be helpful for folks to know what model/year you have. They may vary from year to year.

You can fill that info in on your user profile so it shows under your name and on every post. If you need help with that, let me know ~

I'm not sure what you intend to do. If your window just need to have "soft goods" replaced you won't need to do anything with rivets. I replaced the fuzzy channel, the seal between the window frame and the window around the perimeter of the window, the seal on the vertical bar that separates the moving and fixed windows and the vertical seal between the two windows without removing any rivets. I was able to get everything needed from Inland RV. I was also in Jackson Center earlier this year and they have every thing you need (You'll need to order through a dealer or visit Jackson Center)

Okay, so now I find that Inland has the vertical lip seal for motorhome windows. I am poised to order this unless someone can tell me it is the wrong part.

Guy99,

PM'd you and realized that there might be a delay in your getting the message. I found the parts at Inland. When I was researching, I thought I remembered Chaplain Kent couldn't find the vertical wiper. Inland has a "vertical lip seal" for motorhomes. Is this the same thing? We have a place on the glass where the handle has scraped it. Not too deep, but we may be removing the window so that we can repair the glass with a kit we are getting.

Check your PM. You DO need to remove the window glass (pretty easy) but NOT the window frame where the rivets are.

See these threads for some good info:

There are other good threads on this topic.

Airstream motorhome windows use three gaskets.

Trim seal, vertical lip seal and schlegal fuzzy channel.

The edges of the lip and trim seal are held together with par bond sealer.

The schlegal channel is held in place with super weatherstrip adhesive.

Wink Check this site out, also

I had good success with this site getting all my front window materials together http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/. Some of my things came from Inland, and some from Vintage. Between those 2 I got all I needed, and saved a few bucks by checking the shipping prices for each.
