Fuel tank leak 1985 345 classic

Need solution for fuel tank leak - pretty fast! Had tank repaired in Oklahoma last summer but realize we have developed a leak. Any suggestions or anyone have a spare?

If you clean the spot and empty your tank below the leak you could temp fix it with a dime and some JB Weld..... JUST TO GET HOME NOT AS A FIX. The PO on mine used potable water hose (the clear stuff with glass fibers in it) to bypass the step fuel filter. I pulled my tank today to clean it and paint it/ replace all fuel lines;-)

The fuel tank on my 325 diesel proved to be the source of the filter clogging problem that left me on the roadside twice during my maiden voyage home after purchasing it. The tank was filled with rust, and was beyond saving. I had a new one made up of aluminum to the exact size of the original. The cost was about $600 plus new sending unit. Maybe not what you're interested in, but a possibility.

We acquired a 1937 Buick about 15 years ago with the same fuel tank problem. Fuel tanks for 1937 Buicks cost about as much as for old Airstream/Argosy motorhomes.

I used the POR 15 fuel tank restoration system with great success.
