Electrical systems

When the 350 came back from its State inspection (which is intended to see to it that you have systems that all work, at some considerable expense), it had developed a few extra problems.

The most annoying of these is that the warning buzzer for headlights (low or high beams) comes on and stays on then the headlights are turned on. Doesn't matter whether the engine (or key switch) is on or not.

Can anyone describe to me this headlight circuit, and how it is supposed to work?

Does anyone know if there is a shop manual (preferably Haynes) for the 454 on a P-30 frame?

Thanks very much! (When it stops snowing, I'll be able to get a look.)
