Electrical: Shore power wont work

This is my first time posting, I hope I get it right... We're out on a trip for the 3 day weekend. GFI Circuit breaker trips on shore power, but it's ok on generator power. On shore power, Sometimes it stays online for 30 minutes, most of the time 3 seconds. I replaced the CB, to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Check the shore power cable for a short. Check the camp ground box on another site if you can reach and see if their box is bad. Make sure all the connections are corrosion free and making good contact.

Hope you get back up soon. Enjoy the weekend - it's good to get away.

BTW - welcome to the Forums, glad you are here.

id ck the shore power on another camp site as well.I had a similiar experience and it was the camp sites old box..Also could be from turning the hot water heater on electric with other appliances that suck the juice just a thought..my microwave has a switch to turn the ac off while i use the microwave..Good luck

First, thanks for the responses. Second, I noticed I posted this on "motor homes" when I should have posted on "trailers". Oops. I have a 88 32' Excella. I'll figure it out eventually...
