Dorothy the Airstream

Hi!!! I have been a member of the group for a couple of months, but I’ve been lurking for almost a year. My grandparents aka, Mamou and Papou bought a brand new shiny Airstream 280 in 1982. I was 10 at the time and have many fond memories of family trips. I have always been intrigued by her beauty and class. Both of my grandparents and my mother have since passed and Dorothy the Airstream has been sitting neglected in a cow pasture for almost 10 years now. Surprisingly, she is in very good shape. I will spare you all the details, but I’m absolutely thrilled to say that we are preparing to bring her home this week!!!! It is a dream come true for me. I know we have a long road ahead of us. We plan to completely modernize her so that she will SHINE again!!!!!!
