Well to do it right, you will need to remove the skin on the door and the wall so that you can access the nuts that hold the hinges on. Some have drilled holes in the body interior skin to access the nuts in the body, but if your going to do the job, why not do it right. Taking out some of the pop rivets is just part of owning one of these.
Do not use silicone when you put the new hinges on, use Vulcum that you can get at Vintage Trailer Supply.
After my hinges were losing the pin, I had to call Sonny at Camper Repair Center in Montevallo, AL to get new ones.
I bolted the screen to the hinge after welding up the cracks in the screen frame. I also put new black screen material in while working it over. I taped the hinge and used stainless allen head caps screws to keep it together.
I will try and get some pic's today of the hinges of how I bolted the screen on.
