Glad to see you made it home. I too am impressed that you handled the pitfalls in stride and maintained a positive attitude. I hope you have many happy future camping trips in your new-old moho.

Turns out the power steering gearbox is leaking fluid. Have to decide if I want to change the seals or just replace the gearbox...it’s original ...[emoji848]

Replace it. I don't know that they sell them for the P-30 but check out Red-Head for replacements. They are the best on the market.

Good advice, thank you.
Attempting to remove the steering gearbox...tight confines.
What is the recommendation to remove the front bumper in order to access the 2 lower gearbox retaining bolts?

Deja-Vu...or 3rd times the Charm Redux!
Slowly getting to the attaching bolts, hydraulic lines and steering coupler to remove the power steering gearbox. Had to remove the grill, windshield washer tank, etc...
Down to the last retaining bolt and it’s a booger...

Does the line per chance go to a cooler of some sort?

Oops! I read the comment where you talked about bleeding the power steering and missed the word "brake" when you talked about the line going to the passenger side
Was the brake line rusted or cracked?

Crawled underneath Penny to bleed the brake lines and noticed fuel leaking from the hose attached filter on the frame rail...so happy it happened here at home and not on the road. [emoji3]

With the fuel leak repaired, on to the brake bleeding...ran 2 quarts of fluid thru all the lines.
While cleaning up I noticed a small puddle of fluid about a foot inboard of the drivers front wheel. Crawled underneath and searched for the source...never saw this before...
Where the master cylinder attached to the hydro boost...some drips from the weep hole...
This can’t be good [emoji15]

Oh man, this is the second leak I had...Steering gear box and brake master cylinder! I was nervous it would be the hydroboost, but replaced master cylinder and that drip went away. Easy to find part at NAPA, and better brake pedal feel(still pretty poor braking)
I don’t run into the leaking lines

Checked with Napa, they recommend I remove the Hydroboost and Master Cylinder. Replace both as a kit.
