Today DW shared her plan for new interior lighting.
She placed blue painters tape where she wanted the LED ceiling lights.
Spent the day figuring out how to layout the wiring to work around the frame and ribs.
Did manage to install several lights...

Contacted several holding tank distributors to purchase a new gray tank...no response as yet due to Shelter in Place rules...
So I purchased a plastic welding kit and decided to give it a try.
Here is the crack:
And a little plastic welding...
Have never “welded” plastic before...will sand and smooth tomorrow.

A little more work on the Gray Tank...plastic welding
A few more layers, some sanding & smoothing and I think I can fill the tank for testing [emoji4]

Popped into the coach to check supplies and found a hint from Dear Wife...
Yep, have to strip the vinyl wallpaper from the bedroom and install 4 LED Recessed Lights.

Awaiting more parts to arrive 🤫 little progress.
Meanwhile, tested my first efforts at plastic welding...yes I suck...abysmal failure
Started searching the web for a suitable replacement...
Due to the uniqueness of our coaches dimensions a direct replacement has not been found as yet. A creative solution may be in order...why am I not surprised?

Same thing happened to me with the plastic welding. Don’t give up yet!
The plastic of the tank is also a thermoplastic that can be melted with the welding iron. Go back over it and try to get the new black material to mix with the tank layer. Can also use the metal mesh for added strength in the repair area. It all sealed well for me on my second go
