Laid out the vinyl plank pattern and pre-cut the pieces.

Will pickup the pieces and fill any holes in the sub flooring with Sikaflex.

If all goes well 🤣 ...Will glue down the vinyl planks in the morning.

“...of the best laid plans of mice and men...”

I planned to glue down the vinyl planks today...”SWMBO” wanted me to hang pictures in the house.

And remove the old electrical switch to power the front air conditioner or old microwave.

And remove the old hood fan and part of the housing for the new upper cabinets.

Made a morning run to pickup white electrical outlets (replacing all the beige ones) & Covers, 6/4 Wire and to watch the morning carnage at Sams (lines wrapped around the building) [emoji15]...

Today’s project is to rewire the generator feed to support 50 amp output to the new ATS.

Cole3444 provide a photo and diagram, Thank You!

I documented my existing wiring...

And rewickered the wiring IAW with the diagram from Cole3444.

Next up, procure a 30 amp breaker & 100 amp Panel and then run the 6/4 wiring to the ATS.

Awaiting arrival of Progressive Automatic Transfer Switch...so off to the local electrical supply house for a 100 amp load Panel, breakers & ground bars.

Plan to install ATS and load Panel this weekend.

Looks like tomorrow I will be installing the replacement Suburban furnace...

I would have warned you but I didn’t know you were replacing the furnace. I would have recommended you do the furnace before the finish floor went down. It is sooooo tight getting that furnace out......top of furnace hits the cabinet cross bar. With less flooring it gives you just enough room to slide it out easy. Well here’s hoping it slides out easy for you. When I replaced mine it was an awful struggle. In hindsight I would have tried to just pull the innards out of the old one and slid the new innards in place. I “think” you could do that if it looks like you might damage your new floor getting the old one out. Dang it.
