Or with gas prices dropping and a shorter distance, you could join the classic Moho gathering in April in Colorado.
Still in the planning stages, check the classic get together thread.

I will put $100 in the kitty if I get an hour of your design talents while you are there!

Huh, kinda reminds me of last year blowing snow out beside the coach in the dead of winter when I heard a humming noise coming from the coach. I had never heard that noise before so I unlocked the door to find the blower in the furnace blowing happily away.....We didn't have her plugged in and no one had been inside for months. Clicked off the thermostat and the blower stopped, clicked the thermostat again and on she came. Turned it off, shook my head and left.
Now she has no furnace inside her at all.

Cheers
Tony

My furnace behaves normally as long as I have power and propane....

Of course, since I'm an engineer and have assorted tools handy, it knows better than to misbehave 😄

So is it abnormal to have a fully functioning furnace?

Happen to me too, only mine was plugged in, found my problem, didn't realize the switch wasn't in the off position from previous trip months before. Now I know to check it before parking it

Wow, everybody is mentioning Co. in the spring while we are looking out at full bloom Azeleas here now, maybe they will have an early spring too.

I used the cabinet making quality Delta table saw today that my brother gave me. I'm trying to finish up the table top for my enclosed trailer. The top is the cut out from the sink counter. The existing table top in the pic is from my AS. Wow, what a nice saw! Wish I had another AS coach project to work on!

I spent multiple days cleaning out my "garage" or my trailer so I can move my ATVs in and out without moving crap out of the way. This also means that I need to do something with the aluminum panels from the bathroom sliding doors in the motorhome that I removed. What should I make out of this aluminum?

Well, I must have jinxed myself with all that talk about my "working" furnace in the MH...it died on me again!

I knew I really didn't fix anything the last time I pulled the furnace. I'm taking an "educated" chance that it is the control board that is the culprit. Again, the fan does not come on. When I connect the fan directly to 12 volts, it works fine. When the fan is connected to the board it does not work. I have 12 volts at the fan connection without the fan connected. If I touch with my finger the fan connector with fan not connected, the voltage drops to 6-8 volts. With the fan connected to the fan connection on the board, the voltage drops to zero.

My new Dinosaur replacement board has arrived...just have to pull the furnace one more time!

I've had on my list now for a long time to flush the water heater and check the anode rod that I installed on 2/23/12. When I arrive at the mh this afternoon and before I hooked up the water, I pulled the old anode rod. Yup, time to replace it! I also flushed the water heater and it was pretty clean. I was walking around the mh this morning checking things out before the big storm hits and it came to me where the rain water might be leaking in at the floor level at the rear of the mh.

Years ago my dad had the spare tire mount removed from the rear bumper. The AS dealer installed a new aluminum panel on the lower rear just behind and above the bumper. The top edge of this new panel was put over the bottom of the panel above it instead of behind this panel. No caulking was used as well.

Rain water would run down right to the plywood floor.

I installed a section of flashing behind this "new" panel then caulked between the upper old panel and the lower new panel. Hopefully I've stopped this leak but the damage over 20 years has taken its toll.

That is an awesome video. I made that trip from Fresno 41 to the park and then out to 120. Great time of the year but I'm going back again this spring when there's water.

Early May is a great time, hopefully we'll get more snow so we have the Falls. I grew up near Fresno and didn't go there until just a few years ago. I missed out. Have you gone over Tioga Pass to the Eastern Sierra's? Some really nice country over there.

Loved the video, don't usually change setting on youtube but it was worth it for this one. Moved it to HD and slowed it down from rollercoaster ride at 'normal to .25.
Excellent slide show, Ansel Adams with color.
If you want a suggested improvement, get a black dash mat, my Honda Fit had reflection so bad at wrong sun angles making it impossible to see, made a sunscreen mat painted flat black placed on the dash and it was a great improvement.
thanks for sharing.

Yes, I've been over Tioga Pass a few times and over to the eastern side. I certainly agree its very beautiful over there.

I've even been over Tioga Pass in Dad's Toy back in '91 when my mom and dad owned the mh. We were going from Las Vegas to the Bay Area. I took this pic at a turn out up there at the top!
