Damn I knew I forgot someone Dave....Hows the complaints department and customer service. If the customer gets all up in your face about delivery delays, just send in Felicia as the heavy closer.
Cheers

Tony,
I'm not sure how I got included in the elite group that you've described. You must have me confused with someone who knows what he's doing. I read along, in awe of what you guys know, and try to learn a little along the way.
Most recent thanks goes out to Dean for the tutorial on furnace repair. I've got two not working on the newly acquired 370. But before I begin major surgery, I'm going to make certain that the propane tank is full; genius that I am!

Awesome, but you will also have to handle installations and repairs of rear view cameras, GPS units, sound systems, touch pads, mood lighting and automation systems!

I'm a semi- retired Boeing engineer that specializes in computers and most other electronics. If it computes, consumes power, communicates or navigates I'm up for it. Most RV stuff is simple compared to the weird stuff I've worked on. ( not bragging--I still do computer systems and network stuff as a consultant)

Tony I have to agree with Charly here, I really don't know much about these things but I'm way to "frugal" to pay somebody to fix my moho so I just fumble through things trying to keep it running. In addition to being cheap I don't like pushing it either so I have to keep my AAA membership up.
Unlike a lot of you guys restoring these old coaches, I fix things as they fail so my repairs are not necessarily by choice. There is no doubt that I could not have muddled through many repairs without the help of many people here and if some things I learned and posted here have helped others, that just makes me happy to have helped.
One last thing, for you guys working on yours, get them on the highway. They really are a great way to travel.

Well, I've decided to take some time out from my rain leaks and my damn door bell in order get my ATV back on the trail. The Airstream isn't the end to the means, it's the means to the end and my end is riding my ATVs. My RZR has been down for awhile and I'm anxious to get some new mud on it.
It's just as bad as the Motorhome however when it comes parts costs.
Clutch rebuild
Shock rebuild
Suspension bushing kit; front and rear
Brake pads
Ball joints
Tie Rod ends
About all I can say at this point is damn!

You should change your handle to Dadstoys or Dadstoyz. My nemesis are bikes, love bikes. thumpers, big bore, not so fast to get the attention of the Rogers and loose my licence.
Do you tow the Razor behind Dadstoy?
Merry Xmas
Tony

Wow. Just like my other favorite forum. (Pelican parts). We have some serious wrenches with us here. You guys make things look so easy it make the others of us think we can do this stuff too.
Nice job on your ATV Dean.
Cheers Richard

I would have to change it to "Dean's Toys" since Dad's Toy was my dad's MH before it was mine!
I tow the RZR on my flat trailer behind the MH when I go riding off the ranch property such as up to Coos Bay!
Pic on sand is at Coos Bay, OR. Other pics of RZR are at the ranch. The white little blob in the red circle is the main ranch compound. I'm still on ranch property about 10 miles out.

I moved the furnace thermostat from the bedroom to the salon. With the thermostat in the bedroom and set to 68, the temp in the salon would rise to about 72-74 before it got to 68 at the thermostat in order to shut off the furnace. Now it works like it should!
