Nice find, kinda like a sphincter in principal. I wonder what kinda noises it makes

Haven't gotten any further in getting a counter top installed in mine. However, working on the cabinetry where a couple of pieces needed replacing because of a leaks over the past 27yrs. Also found a stain and poly close to the original so have redone the kitchen area, drawers, spice rack, and all. Now the woodwork in the bath and bedroom begs attention!

Thanks for the heads up on a great product. I think I'll be using a few of those as I set about rebuilding my galley, lav, and shower. Very cool!

The RV Doctor: What? No P-Trap in the RV?
Dean, have you found these sink traps anywhere. Looking like $22 is the best price I've found so far. Be nice to get rid of P-trap in kitchen and bathroom.
Thanks for the heads-up, Derek

Just installed a compressed air attachment off the rear air bag pump/tank. It works. The two outside rear tires where at 40lbs, pumped them up to 80lbs. These two always loose air???

Finally got my kitchen doors and drawer fronts back on. The match is a bit better then the pics. I like how they turned out! The top drawer is the one I forgot to take home, so job not quite done yet.

well, $22.75, sure there's shipping as well. All of the other sites started at $25 and went up from three. Of course, our 'personal shopper, Keyair might find them for even a better price......Steve???

I usually buy that stuff from Dyersonline, but see they are $25.55. I'll probably order from them anyway, since I need a few other things.

worst part is shipping. I know that USPS can ship this for around $10 or so, but jeez, everyone wants to use UPS or FedEx, and shipping is going to be almost $16 for me!

I know...what a rip off. Good advertisement for USPS though!

They just announced yesterday that the big postal sorting center up here in Redding will be closed. My brother in law up in Eugene works for the center on the East side of the highway from Eugene in that radical religious ultra conservative town of Springfield. He is waiting to see if they are going to close the center there. He is very high in seniority there but not if he has to move over to the better side of the highway in Eugene.

Wow, thought I was going to get blown away last night up here on the mountain with the strong winds! A beautiful day today , but with winds still blowing it is about 45 so not working on outside projects today. I thought I would start replacing the defroster and a/c ducting. As I got into the project, I decided to pull the dash to make the job easier and to finally paint it. Oh what have I gotten myself into?

Super cool to see under the dash! I was wondering what it looked like. Shouldn't be too hard to fabricate something new with more storage space, and sexay looks!

It ended up being a real f'ing pain in the ass to remove the dash. The problem was right at the middle of the dash at the windshield, the dash was "cemented" in. I was scared to death of breaking the windshield. I actually ended up using my Black and Decker "dremal" knockloff and cutting the dash a bit. I will have to put a piece of flexible molding at the windshield edge when I reinstall. Everything else was easy. The a/c vents come out easy, just push down a bit on the top to pull out. The round a/c vents on the instrument panel screw off. Half the screws along the dash were broken already and most of the rest broke taking them out. I will have to drill new holes on the reinstall. At one time I really wanted to re do the instrument panel, but the more I checked into it, the more I decided I really like that "old" panel. New gauges are expensive. There is a guy out there that does Motorhome dashes, but he wanted a fortune for a piece of aluminum with some holes cut in to...NOT! I would like to add oil and trans temp gauges and I have a pressure gauge on its way for the air compressor/ tank. I know why my tach light was dimm...the bulb fell out. Only one wire connection looks bad...one on the heater/defroster fan switch.

I will have the dash painted tomorrow and reinstalled on Monday! Any takers out there on that bet?

I scraped the loose rust off the framing under the dash and shot it with Rust-Oleum primer. Also stripped and repainted the center windshield pillar.

Well to get a really good idea of what we'll need, I'm working on finding someone to make the complete 3d model.... Then I can prototype dashes alllll day long!
