Was watching Top Gear tonight on History Channel. When they took their respective POS's to auction, I KNOW I saw a 345 Classic Airstream in the background. Anyone on the forum own that 345? Guessing that Top Gear is shot in Los Angeles???
Thanks, Derek

Close to rural Appalachia: on our drive last month from Tennessee to Delaware we stopped for a night at the New River State Park in NC, Hwy 210/Headquarters entrance. We were the only ones in the nicest campground that we have stayed at for awhile.

Spotted on SB I-5 between Elk Grove and Lodi California. It was sporting Washington plates. Wish I was A/S instead of working!

Anyone from the forum at Mississippi Welcome Center west bound on I-10 this past weekend? Had full-timer friends heading West for their summer 'job' at Yellowstone, spot an earlier 80's model Classic Motorhome. Owners told my friends they are the original owners!
Thanks, Derek

4/24/12 my wife saw a polished 345 near Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt MD. She got so excited she followed you till I convinced her to just continue home. It had Quebec plates. First one she ever saw on the road besides ours.

Also Spotted in North Carolina ???

Was the polished 345 last seen near Greenbelt, MD also towing a Hummer? If so we spotted it going east on I-40 near Winston-Salem, NC on Monday morning (4/23).

As I was passing through San Francisco today on my way home, I spotted an '80s classic, probably about 31' with rear wrap around windows. He was heading north and about to get on the Bay Bridge. It was cool seeing one in my own back yard!

I'm really too embarassed at this point to post a picture of mine! I'll need about a hundred hours on the back end of my polisher before the public unveiling! A 1987 290 with less than 40k miles. Really a nice AR under all that tarnish!

Hope you folks are patient, because all you will see of mine are 'before' pics...'after' pics will mean I can't drive, shouldn't have driven, or am buried/scattered somewhere...

O.K. Some BEFORE Pictures... This is before my ownership, when the odyssey was being contemplated! It doesn't look bad from a distance, on a sunny day.....BUT, upclose it really needs a lot of TLC. Blistering on clear coat, blistering and missing accent striping, a dent or two, Non functional fridge, convection oven, broken Hot water heater, etc., etc. The list goes on and on. Probably nothing that a few hundred hours and deep pockets can't correct!

Spotted a 345 mid 80's at Camping World in Anderson, Calif just south of Redding. Wheels were off the tag axle. I asked if owner was around...he wasn't. I was the fourth person to stop and ask about the 345 in the last two days. The first three wanted to buy it...not me! I believe the owner lives up north and was having someone drive it up from southern Calif. I'm going to guess this is the same 345 that blew an engine on the way through the area a few months back.

Yup! I drove by last Monday and saw it in the secondary lot of B&B RV next to Camping World...with the tires still off the tag axle. I'm guessing Camping World can't find the parts. Personally, I would never take it Camping World!

Maybe someone towed it there with the front of the ground and destroyed the tag axle in the process...
