We're good with the artic circle

As for having a meet up in Canada.....it's impossible to do in a Provincial park as you can't reserve a number of spots at the same time. There is a fairly nice KOA in the Thousand Islands Kingston area that I will inquire as to space available.

As for Artic circle/ Dempster highway.......I have no furnace but some sweet thermal blankets; and if I park really close to Magnet18's rig I figure the thermal transfer from his fireplace will do me just fine, so I'm good to go.

I'm good for an artic circle meetup
Keep in mind I don't have that rear lounge though, we won't be fitting 16 people around the fire! Maybe 8 max

South first, then North OK

Hello all,
Late spring on - I'm interested in heading north.

Before then, if any others are planning on attending the FMCA Perry Ga get-together Mar 13-16, would be happy to meet there.

After that, we're heading over to Ft Rucker Al and probably Pensacola Fl and would be interested in meeting any others in the area as well.
Take care.
Martin

Great respect for you Dave, the manner in which you cared for your parents. You showed them both what you are made of, I'm sure it gave them great peace.

Mike

( We just had a "mini-motorhome-get-together here at my house, John n Ann stopped for the night on their way to Arizona.......great to see them both, got to visit a good bit.)

No room for the "Zippster" but she was close and Wrigley was on guard duty!

Okay, I feel better now that Wrigley probably cocked his leg and wee'd on Zippy's tires.

I hope you are doing well Mike and you're are recovering nicely.

Thanks for the warm welcome for the northern horde....

Cheers

Classic Motor home get together

Just kidding on the Arctic circle! We do plan on getting north of the arctic circle in Alaska in a couple years. We were close in a rented rig about 12 years ago with my folks. The 32’ class A we rented start running like crap. Didn’t want to violate the no gravel roads claws if it crapped out. Did make it to the Chena Hot Springs.

The Dempster would be pretty rough on a moho however a meet in Dawson, a really neat town with dirt streets and wood sidewalks, and then a moho convoy to Chicken on the Top of The World Highway would be pretty cool.

Trip to Arizona

Thanks for posting that pic Mike.

For those that don't know we are on our way to Arizona for the winter. We had a great stop over with Mike & Lynn. Thanks for the use of your drive way for the night and for the great dinner.

We left Mikes place yesterday morn and drove to Blytheville Arkansas stayed the night in a Walmart.

We left at 8 am this morn and arrived in Oklahoma city around 5.30 staying at another Wally world.

So far everything is going to plan and the coach purring along with the car in tow. We are 1560 miles from home

Should be somewhere in New Mexico by tomorrow night

Blytheville is quite the garden spot(not). I spent way too much time working there on projects. Glad you made it thru the night without incident.

Has anybody thrown out a date for the spring meetup? Still thinking Canada?
Wife just put in for a new passport, trying to decide if we need to expedite it.

Also, I need a deadline for my 8 different projects :

We are in Seattle until July 31 when our lease is up. We are downsizing in an extreme way. Considering central Oregon for relocation (Terrebonne to La Pine). Open to meeting up anywhere on the west side (of the US). After our move and settling in, the Airstream will be down for several months for an conversion and engine for motor swap.
