We are connected on Facebook, and he is still around and OK. We even met up for dinner a few months go. Maybe his motorhome activities are on a back burner at the moment?

Okay people.....not like a few of use haven't looked for rope or a good bungee cord with our own rigs, (including John and Bob).

I know I have had to use CAA once and The Lone Rangers "how do I fix my rig mobile service" more than a few times (thanks John).

Cheers

I shot Tap a text a week or so ago, he is alive and well.
He got stranded in his rig near me last fall with some front end issues, I think he is road ready, but sounded discouraged. I let him know about the GTG, maybe the warm weather and a possible caravan will get him back in the mood. I suspect we will all hear from him soon.

Both sides of the lake are great, I always wanted to check out Indiana Dunes as well. When are you planning on being there?

Curt we haven't planned quite yet when we are taking off. We are going to take a trip to southern Il next week and mess around for a week or so. When we get back I'll get more serious about planning the trip north. Ill post it though if you were thinking about possibly hooking up over at the Indiana Dunes. Ive heard really good things about the park and hopefully it won't be too crowded at that time of year. It would be great to see you and the family there.

You know you guys are making me feel really bad about not being able to attend this get together. Just too much going on with the house build, demolition of the old house, work, summer cruse, etc. It seems like it is going to be a great time. How about somebody take the lead and post a lot of pictures and updates for the wretched ones who cannot attend. Besides this should be forever documented for posterity.

Okay I know a few of you havebeen wondering why I haven't jumped on board. I've had trouble swallowing starting this year, along side constant heartburn; I'm being told now that they're 90% sure I don't have Esophogeal cancer, but a hiatus hernia (barium test done today). Whew, I've known two people dying within 8 weeks after being diagnosed with that nasty stuff.

New job is going okay, and it turns out we get the day before a long weekend as a bonus. I talked to the wife and she thinks she might be coming down with something on the Friday before the long weekend.....

So, room for one more?

Cheers

PS I don't know when Bob and Charlie are floating through London Ontario, but maybe a meet up and convoy maybe in order.

Tony glad to hear things are not as bad as they could have been health wise. Still something to deal with but less challenging. I'll be slugging it out with the new house, demolishing the old one, catching up with everything else. I think my free time this year is already committed. Watch out next year, Rita and I will be ready to go.

Sounds like things are moving right along with the house Lance....good deal! Glad to hear the paper shufflers got it together so you guys could proceed. Big undertaking, good luck with the build. Now if you can keep the contractor from shooting the architect and the two of them from killing the inspectors and you from doing away with all the lot you'll be in good shape! seriously hope things go as smooth as possible.........now double the estimate and add 10%

Nope, use the 90-90 rule...the first 90% of the project takes 90% of the budget.

The last 10% of the project takes another 90% of the budget...

Much more realistic...
