Yeehaw ya'll.

What a beautiful place to meet up, complete with a rodeo for entertainment.

It does sound like extending into next week could be a plan if possible.

Really feel for you Tap, hang in there Brother, your perseverance will pay off soon.

Have a great time and know that the rest of the clan, the world over are there with you in spirit.

Cheers Richard

Wish I could be there

Wish I could join everyone - but Dali's out of commission until I get her trans fixed or drop an entire new engine/transmission in her.

Monet is hard at work as a mobil Escape Room and just acquired Van Gogh (my 2nd Airstream Funeral Coach - to be converted to another mobil Escape).

Pic of Monet ('81 280 Funeral Coach), Dali ('86 345 Classic) in background and my scooter!

First rally

Thank you all for a wonderful weekend of making new friends, good food, and lots of laughs! I have to say our first rally was a success and we are looking forward to many more! So sorry we had to leave so early but we are concerned with running Sylvia for 9 1/2 hours in the heat. Looking forward to seeing all of you again soon!

Curt, Michelle, and family,
We were sad to see you leave so early and miss out on group photos and goodbyes, but we completely understand. How did the ride home go?

I'm sure Vycan will post the group photos soon.

We all thoroughly enjoyed meeting your family in person. You guys are great and a lot of fun. Stay in touch.

We are 1.5 hours from home and roasting our butts off! Sylvia does not have dash air and the air-conditioning by the front beds does not work, we are cooking in the fish bowl! We will keep in touch and look forward to seeing all of you again! Tap, Curt offered to help get your bus back on the road, just let him know if and when you need help.

Team,

Here is a pic of everyone that made it next to their Rigs and the group except Spicestream due to very valid concerns for schedule adjustment and heat. Tap caught pics of everyone during our potluck and Spicestream's rig. So collectively we got everyone. Hope everyone enjoyed it. We had a blast. Look forward to the next one.

Hello to all,

Tap and Nick, thanks for the great pics.
It's great seeing all those Classics together. Miss seeing you all, but this was too far a reach for me, and the 370 is in quite a state of mayhem at the moment.
Hope to make it to Cooperstown in the Fall.

Wishing you all a safe (and uneventful) drive home!!!

Charly

Wish I had the courage to go to your outing...
Age (of the Motorhome) and heat were my excuses...

John and I were glad to hear everyone had a great time and wish you all a safe trip home. John, my mechanical Ginuae Pig has been redoing his front springs, while I have had my rear electrical compartment rebuilt as my 20 ton air jack was threatening to fall out and end up in someones grille.

Maybe next meetup should be at Mark's place in Minneapolis, as I'm sure his anxiety level is maxed out, a month before, wondering if his rig is going to make it; only to find out, it's not.

Great times, great pics, with great people. Awesome!

Cheers
Tony

Hello Airstreamers
It looks as if you had a great meeting with lots of fun. Great photos. It always looks great when you can see Airstream Mohos together.
A bit of a pity it was not so many. I had expected more, in 2016 it was + -13 .... In the land of the Airstreamer, one should expect it. There are certainly many miles, but in the States there are also much more than just a handful like in Europe ...
Too bad, I can not say, next time I'll be at your meeting ...

the best wishes to the States
Peter

Here in Europe we will also repeat our meeting ....
These meetings are really enjoyable with the right people, as with you ....

Small group but very feisty!!!!

We made it to Beautiful Atwood Ks yesterday on the way to Denver. It was HOT AND WINDY the whole way. The rooftop AC kept it pretty cool in the rig. Didn't have to turn on the rear. Coolant temps were normal, right around 185 the whole way. It had to be pushing 100 degrees outside temp.

Curt, you guys must have just ROASTED, surprised Will didn't have a stock of battery powered personal fans that he would be willing to SELL each family member for a small profit.

Wish we could have made it! "Next year!" Still have to drive the 94 from Boulder back to Michigan. I need about a week parked at my buddies house to get it ready for 1500 miles. No heat or ac would have made it a miserable trip this time of the year.

It was HOT, Sylvia preformed like a perfect lady as usual.
I am sure Will had a plan to scam some cash off the old man, I can fortunately still stay one step ahead of him. He did mow 5 acres for me when we got home without complaining so I will keep him around.

I cant tell you guys how much I learned and how much fun I had.
I really appreciate the time we got to spend with all of you.

Next Mods (fixes)- Dash air, new front air, new front seats, rear shocks.

We should think about trying to put something together for the EAA in Oshkosh WI at the end of July Olivia and I will be there no matter what, she has not missed one in 13 years.

https://www.eaa.org/en/airventure/ea...dule-of-events

Poke around the website to find any classes that may interest you.
Their is also a pretty neat swap meet with all sorts of aviation related doo dads, hardware, gauges, etc.

See you soon,
Curt
