So somewhat serious question gents. I was thinking of doing a commemorative coin for the get together. Similar to military challenge coins. It would be a 2.5" to 3" coin cut like the outline of an airstream motorhome. The back would have the seal of the campground centered. At the top it would say "3rd Annual Airstream Classic Motorhome Get Together" at the bottom it would have the dates. If able, I will try to find a way to incorporate a bottle opener into the design. The coins would be anywhere from $10-30 a coin depending on how many we get. Low volume increases cost because the mold fee is a set rate, and some places remove the mold fee if the order is over 50. Is this something anyone is interested in, if so please list interest and total you would want to purchase.

I wish these gatherings weren't always so far out East.

Its 541 miles for us.

We are planning to do some local camping in April and then take the maiden voyage in May to Virginia. Looking forward to Tennessee in June.

Question for those coming from Ohio, PA, New York or Canada - What routes do you take to get to Tennessee/Virginia?

For me, coming from Cleveland, its hard to avoid US 71 or US 77 when heading south. I would prefer a more scenic route, but don't want to extend a 7 or 8 hour drive into a 12 hour drive.

Bob,

Did you nail down dates yet? Working the coin design, and need the dates, unless you would just rather go for "2017"

I sent off a request for quotes. Will see how it turns out.

Hello all, I have contacted both TCP and Jersey Shore Airstream parks for our 2017 Classic motor home Get-Together, I do not believe that TCP has the room for us...based on the information that is listed on their website they only have 6 visitor spots available. I know that Virginia Highland Haven has the room because I have been there, so that could be another option or maybe even next year. The facilities at New Jersey look to be excellent and it might be closer to most of us that attended last year. The proposed dates are either 06/09/17-06/12/17 or 06/16/17-06/20/17. Regards, Bob

I could do the Virginia site, but not the New Jersey one (sorry it's too far that close to a move). We are moving in June/July.

I'd be interested in that one. Are Airstream parks now a requirement? We had a nice time at the Cheyenne Mt State Park on the first one.
