Nice meeting you as well Mark (Tap)!

Sorry I missed this get together - hopefully I can make the next one. Looks like everyone had a great time! Dali's interior is slowly coming along - hoping the majority of the work will be finished within a month.

It is amazing! He did all the polishing himself and is completely renovating the interior as well. Very impressive!!

Great meeting you Sam!!

Now back on the road so that I can arrive home by 2am!

Whew!!... We've finally made it home from our 3,273 mile trip. Headed up to Niagara Falls after the Get Together. Thanks again to Bob for putting this shindig together. I'm sorry we didn't get to meet all the fellow Airstreamers there. To the ones we did, we enjoyed your company. Had a wonderful time.
Sincerely,
Ray & Bethany

I really had a great time putting the "get-together" together. I hope everyone had a great time. We had the best and the worst of the weather all within 4 days. I am thinking of doing another next year either at Virginia Highland Haven or Top of Georgia either second weekend of May or second weekend of June. I think June would be better weather wise. Open to any feedback.....Regards, Bob

How about the Airstream Park Tony suggested :
Tennessee Cumberland Plateau

http://www.tcpconline.com/index.html

More central located and further south for a milder climate in early May

I like to offer for consideration the idea of opening the motorhome gatherings to all eras of airstream motorhomes. I think there may be cross over interest and it would be nice to learn more about the later models . Any thoughts?

Tenn. Sound good for the next gathering, I hope to be able to make it.

Cheers Richard

Classic Motor home get together

How about a new thread?

2017 Classic Motorhome Get Together...

Feel bad we had to cancel this year. The move to Michigan, providing care for my folks, work, and selling a house in Colorado is really progressing slower than I had hoped.

To all of us concerned, I have put a personal call into TAP (Mark) this morning. There was no answer but I left a message.

I for one am okay with other Airstream joining in, just as the B class couple did in the last meet; but, big BUT, any Classic would have priority over other Airstream types. So if there are any spots available once all Classics have decide to attend, these would be offered to other types. I don't think that's unreasonable.

Agreed?

Cheers
Tony

Strange concept to me. When we found covered parking for the 360 the place was full of airstream trailers. The manager gave me a number of the local club and said they were having a gathering. Called to see if we could meet some other Airsrteam people. Was told motorhomes were not being accepted. Only trailers.

Seemed really strange. We never tried to contact them again.

Understood Dave, totally understandable BUT the title of the thread is "Classic motorhome get together"; not Airstream motorhome get together.

I'm just saying that a "Classic" nose is going to be put out of joint, if finding out that all the spots have been taken by other types of motorhomes. Although it would make for an interesting line up photo with Bob's 325 surrounded by Interstate owners in blue berets and cowboy hats.

I'm not trying to be a wanker as I'm the first one to try and accommodate others and give up my spot in line; even if it means I'm with the Argosy's or boondocking somewhere across the park just to keep the peace.

I'm just saying.......don't mean or intend to offend.
Cheers
Tony

Not a club, but a band of brothers and sisters; a bawdy bunch of misfits that I have the great fortune, to call friends.

Cheers
