Don't worry, Brad's bringing a large silver tarp with AIRSTREAM written on it to cover the tent.

Cheers

We are currently staying in Golden, CO and are possibly about to buy a 1989 345... so I would say YES!

We are looking forward to this get together.

Can we get a list of the attendees and are there plans for a pot luck or anything like that? I know this is not an official rally, but I like to come prepared.

Thanks
Sonia

I will put together the list that I have later this week for all to see. There are no plans for a pot luck. I don't want anybody to feel obligated to do anything but show up, the only requirement is to have fun....possibly to bring wine and or beer from the area where you live to pass around. I personally am planning on taking Monday off from work so that I can enjoy a full day (Sunday) with you guys. We will be leaving North Blenheim, N.Y. at 6 AM Friday for the "Get Together".

I would like to hook-up with a nice guy that I met in Hermon, Maine two years ago. Their names were Julian and Lynne Clements #224 out of Cornelia, GA. I would like to invite them to out "Get Together". The following picture is their motorhome.

Perfect! We can sit around and swap stories about the yahoo in his AMG or M series uber sedan cutting you off and then putting on the binders; or making a spot of tea on the go and having the wife come back to help.... "don't worry" she says, " I have it on cruise".

Cheers
Tony

It looks like the "Get Together" is now starting to come together....as of this morning we are at 15 units and 1 tent. Towards the end of the week I will post a list of all of us so far that are on the list. Please let me know if I make any mistakes or left someone out. Regards, Bob

I will definitely bring some local beers, my side job is a sales rep for a brewery in town. We even have a birch beer for those non alcoholic drinkers. When the time gets closer I will post a list of what we have on tap (usually 13 beers) and I will bottle some up.

I spoke with Pennwood yesterday. We are now at 15 units, that is about all the Rally Field will hold with hook-ups. There is plenty of room for other motorhomes off the Rally Field or on the Rally field with no hook-ups. For anyone that has been there they will know what I am talking about. If nobody has any objections, I would like to organize the motorhomes into lining up by year category, but if this is to much and some of you guys want to park next to each other I will nix that idea. As for the tent.....NO tents allowed at Pennwood, Brad, you will have to use the couch that offered to you. I also spoke with Rich Luhr (Airstream Life) yesterday...he is currently working on a special T-shirt for us at the get together.

I request by private message all cell phone numbers including area code. Hopefully no one breaks down, but if someone does we can help organize help or spare parts to make the trip a success. I have a map of the United States on my dining room table and would like to also know everyone's planned route so that I can map everyone's journey to Pennwood. I will assign everybody a color and trace on the map their route.

As a Coloradoan for the past 10 years, in my opinion April in the mountains (like Steamboat) is a bad idea. Most classic motorhomes won't make that climb. Colorado Springs = far better idea, and Garden of the Gods is beautiful!

We are currently in Golden CO. If you need us to scout an area, we can do so. We are picking up our new-to-us 1989 Airstream 345 today and can't WAIT for this gathering!!!!! We've been wanting to go back down to Garden of the Gods anyway. We can be reached at: spotthescotts@gmail.com for any direct communications and we are happy to help :-D

Now that we are actually purchasing this you can put us down as a for sure attendee.... unless it gets pushed to past May 15, when we are leaving Colorado for several months.

Thanks! Can't wait!
