That's an Atwood furnace door on the curb side.

The early 20ft that Dane came close to buying is listed again.

I know Dane walked away because of rust, but not sure how bad it is?

Martin, have you talked to Dane about his thoughts on this Argosy? Shipping two 20' Argosy motorhomes to the UK would be the same as shipping one 40' Seavans

I thought about it for about 10 milliseconds then realized it is not a job for me! If I was to attempt a chassis swap I would start with a longer unit (like the donor I have), and make the frame and body fit a chassis close to a 20ft - seems easier to remove metal to get something to fit rather than adding it!

Would be call, especially if using one of these as a base.

If I was 10 years younger and didn't have any other projects hanging out there I'd love to tackle a project like that. Unfortunately those days are long gone and I'm just hoping to finish everything on my plate before it's to late

Anyone can feel free to PM me about any questions if they are interested in that 20ft Argosy. Overall it wasn't just the rust but a myriad of things. Pretty much all the windows had signs of leaking water for a long duration. Inside was way worst than the pictures actually show and the subfloor was completely rotted under the driver and in several other places. Overall it isn't a bad buy if you want to do a complete restore but was more than I was looking for. Definitely not in "Good shape" though .

Rear bath 20' Argosy popped up on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/281962810791...0791&viewitem=

Usual story, hardly used, trouble starting, needs work (passenger frontside ding), but offers 'unlimited fun'

I'm almost positive this is the 20' Argosy that used to be owned by Balrgn that he named Peanut.

Sure looks like it's gone down hill since Balrgn owned it. I followed the work he did on Peanut and was always impressed with the quality of the work he was doing. He had turned it into a really nice coach. At the price being asked it should be a bargain. The front skin wouldn't be that hard to repair.

Here's an original shot of the front before the damage.

Dane, you should seriously consider this one.

It is Peanut.....the seller even calls it the same name.

The banana wraps are still available new (heck I have two new ones in my shed!), and the other parts bumper/grill parts, are available. Could even be worth paying the shipping to take whats left of my donor as the (modified) bumper and grill are all intact on that.

So....it definitely is Peanut and Andre (Balgrn) believes the starting issue listed is just normal for starting a 454. Knowing the history I'm not sure I can resist a bid unless Dane or someone who doesn't already have a 20ft steps in!

It's been a while since a 20 has been on ebay other than those from the seller in Arizona. It'll be interesting to see how high this one goes.

Hmmm.....bent and needing parts that are hard to find, seller listing current issues (whether they are or not), back history of an owner that has problems each time they use it ("It would be happiest living with a mechanic or someone with unlimited cash because each visit to the shop has been $2000"), it will be interested to see what it goes for.

I sense someone will get a bargain.
