My 24 ft
I just had this one done too. I replaced the 454 and added a built 700r4 took it out thru the front. I removed the rear twin beds and am putting in a Queen. I removed the generator decided 2 Yamaha's make more sense for me.

Yamaha generators? I've heard of Honda's but not Yamaha's, guess I need to look them up.
The one in the picture appears to be a 26' or 28'. Is it a 75 or 76?
I opted to go with the 4L80e since I was installing a TBI it just made more sense for me to go that route.

It's a 24 I agree it looks longer in the picture. Big back window. Identical generator to the Honda. I have a fresh 454 TBI with 4l80 ready to go in the 20 if it doesn't sell. I've been thinking lately a ls 6.0 or 6.2 might be better?? I bought the 20 when I had 1 daughter now I have 2!!

Do you plan to sell the 454/4L80e with the Argosy? That would be a big selling point if you ask me. I think there is one forum member that has a diesel in his 20'.
Whatcha gonna do if you have a third daughter?!

LOL no more kids!!! I'm going to wait and see.... I've got the motor and tranny on standby. Doing the brakes as soon as the paint is dry. I went thru a gallon of por 15 on the underside and engine compartment. I have to move otherwise I would just keep it. Not really looking forward to seeing it go, Thus the price. I have the orange and black plaid interior but it needs to be redone.

Okay, it's official; the world has gone crazy! Price wise, maybe $1,000 for the rims?
Check out the angle on the center support for the windshield. I think this one is a goner as well.
Cheers

I think the bar being tweaked like that is a symptom of a larger problem, like the front part of the roof has been pushed a few degrees to port. Probably won't buff out.

Ummm, yeah, and you have the tractor and chain to pull the front cab over the 3-4" it has shifted.
I phoned the gentleman who has the 345 in his yard; he didn't argue my point that its pretty much a parts moho, but was unwilling to tell me what his bottom line was. I did cringe a bit when he told me he towed home just by the front end and told me that the tag axle was just fine, that they tow that way all the time. He even stated that some bent plexiglass in the rear and she's all good in the back.
But that didn't even prepare me for the doozy he wacked me with next; "all you need to do is take off the Airstream front end that's damaged, find an old Winnebago with a good front end and bidda bing, you have a brand new motorhome. They're both are on the same frame" he stated. I seriously took a few moments to think what that would look like and then thanked him for his time.
Cheers

If the guy was willing to do that, at least it would free up all the parts bobbett750 needs for their repair done in Texas....
Maybe they could offer just to buy the front because everything rear of the cab is repairable!

I spoke to John (Shepherd57) tonight and if Bobbet750 is interested in the front clip of this 345 we would work out a deal where I could possibly drive the coach back to my property where John and I could get the front clip off this coach and send it to where Bobbet750 wants it sent to in return for the few parts John and I are interested in. Maybe Bobbet750 could work a deal for PeterH-airstreamer to possibly do the repairs down in Texas?
I have PM'd Bobbet750. Hopefully at least one coach will still live on.
Cheers

I am interested in a few small parts so happy to chip in for those if they are available.

Another scenario worth considering is to ship the clip to UK direct from Canada (it is around $800 for a shipping container) and maybe add in Nick's parts. I seem to remember bobbett750 has experience working with trailer bodywork so could try repairing their 345 in the UK. last I heard they were awaiting completion of the chassis repair before shipping????
When it comes to it, I have around 1/2 a container worth of parts etc spread around Boston, NJ, and Kentucky if someone wants to shared the cost of the container!!!! I am sure Brad would appreciate the space in his workshop.....

Would be happy to help, but can't do aluminum welding that will be required to repair the yet unknown frame damage.
On the other hand, Bobbet750 indicated that he was shipping the 345 to England after doing some repairs to drive it. I gave him the contact of one of the most experienced Airstream restorer in the South and also offered other repair alternatives. He never contacted me personally, despite me being just 90 miles from the 345.

Classic MoHos For Sale?
This one says Airstream and she says she had it painted, but it looks more like an Argosy to me. But it's prob an Airstream as the grill says. It's probably because of the paint on it that makes my brain think Argosy.
Ugly paint job on it if you ask me.
I'm not looking for myself, just curious if it really is an Airstream or if it's an Argosy.

Definitely built in Versailles. It has the one piece galvanized cap in the rear.
