Fair price for a project with (what appears to be) solid bones. I have not looked at this 345 personally. Not sure if I would be brave enough to take this 345 on a far away trip as is.

Peter...maybe we should visit the 345 and kick the tires?
We could take my 350 make it a day?

No sir, I paid my dues to the 345 gods.
Give me shout if you see a 250

Okay, this is an Argosy, but it has some nifty touches inside like rear twins that appear to convert to a double bed, and a recessed tray in the dinette table that will keep dinner from sliding off:

Thank you Peter, I would prefer a diesel powered coach, however this one has some extensive rust in storage compartments along the side of the coach. Not sure how extensive a job it might be to weld new boxes in.
Has anyone heard of anyone swapping out their Chevrolet v-8 for a diesel? Is it possible?

Many threads on it....mostly 'not straightforward'.

For example http://www.airforums.com/forums/f159...ns-141299.html

You guys see the polished 300LE on eBay for 27500? It belongs to Jim who I know took immaculate care of it. For anyone shopping, this is an incredible deal...no tag axle, rear panoramic bedroom, fuel injected, polished... I sold my 300 for 40k.

I think that one is also listed on Fred's site at http://www.viewrvs.com/motorhome/air...home-300-d.php
It does look like a good value.

Wow! Two 20' Argosies on ebay at the same time

This one we've seen before, 20' Argosy #1

Not much info in the listing, 20' Argosy #2

Brad

The 1975 (#2) looks to be a very rare 1975 rear bath units (based on the two, over gaucho, windows on the drivers side), which will mean it is one of the few 'flat floor' (because the generator is in the back) rear bath units.

I wish he would post more pictures of the 75 to get a better idea of what it looks like.

I have two of the darn things already Nick!

But seriously....the more I look at it the more I don't think it is a 1975...it has the 'Peanut' layout, which wasn't introduced until 1976. But $5K with no engine and when the listing says 'have MOST of the interior'??????????

I think you and Brad should open an Argosy 20ft museum in Kentucky. Just buy every one which comes up and see what happens - I reckon it could be massive.

Or we could just take all the money we have in our respective banks and burn it: its about the same result!

Martin, I think burning the money would have been the smart approach, I would then have a LOT more free time to spend mowing...

I'm thinking it might actually be a 75. If you look at the location of the drivers side wiper motor. My 74 and I think Bella as well has the wiper motor located more to the outside by a couple of inches or so. I compared mine, Peanuts and the one on ebay and it sure looks like it's motor is located the same as mine.

What I'm wondering is if he still has the front grille. Without that you can pretty much write this one off.

Brad

Hi Guys!

It's mine! I'm not much for posting on forums, but I have read your posts front to back several times :-) Yes I have the grill. I will confirm the year the MH is in Phoenix and I'm working in Los Angels this week.

Hi Ray!

There are several of us that are 20' Argosy nuts and we sorta try to keep up with what happening in the Argosy 20' world

Is there any chance you could post pictures of your 20' here on Airforums? The more the merrier

Brad
