Any why, oh why, with something so 'rare' would you even consider doing this?????? "This is perfect for a food truck as the frame is super heavy duty and it already has an eighty gallon water tank and two forty gallon waste water tanks."

Maybe it's just me......

We tried to get a grip on the production numbers a few years ago, check this tread, Derek

1975 Airstream Argosy 26 Motorhome

The interior is a big gaudy for my taste but overall it seems to be in good shape.

Clean machine with the rare rear corner windows. I like what they did to the double bed/ 2 single beds conversion in the rear Bedroom. I was looking for some ideas like that to have an Office/master suite without having to move holding tanks.

Given nothing much has been done to the coach, ( at least no info was provided), the price is too high. I'd be offering $10,000, due to the fact that in order to make it road-ready, another $10K could be sunk into it. Looks like our old coach!

Looks like the winning bid was about $3K over his asking price.

Airstream 1981 Motorhome RV "No Reserve" in RVs & Campers | eBay Motors

Too bad they took out the tambour overheads, does not look like a classic Airstream inside.
But still, it seems well worth the asking price. Wonder why it did not sell.
