Time to say Goodbye: 85 Funeral Coach, 78 Argosy 24

Hi there,

Two new postings over the long weekend, '85 Funeral Coach:
https://nashville.craigslist.org/rvs...238278654.html
No info if the couch could convert to a bed but nice storage space.

And a '78 Argosy 24 in ok condition and less than 60k miles.
https://sacramento.craigslist.org/tr...238556582.html

Cheers,

Mario

I would be willing to spend $200.00 for the items I mentioned (assuming the door dimensions are large enough to cover the hole in my cabinet)

Ohio 345 has some body damage behind the drivers wheel well.

Polished 345 looks like a nicely started project

If I were betting, I would bet the motor is a 454 7.4 L engine and the mileage is 142,000. Just my opinion. The odometer doesn't have enough digits. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing. But a more realistic mileage for age of vehicle.

1974 Argosy 24, $7,500

Hi,

New posting in LA area, Argosy from '74 with 96k miles and asking price of $7,500. Seller mentions, it's a project but runs and drives.
Not sure, where the furniture in the rear comes from.

https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/...274337671.html

Text associated with advert '1991 Airstream 350 LE is in overall good shape for the year, but with only 11000 original miles would be an excellent candidate for restoration. No dents. Rear bedroom currently removed for renovation. Two new AC units. Runs and drives very well. I really need this out of my way ASAP. It has served its purpose. Make me an offer I can’t refuse.'

I am a little skeptical about this unit.

It was for sale (same text and photos) in Mass, and has popped up in a couple of different 'Tri-State' locations for sale. Maybe it is genuine and hasn't sold (I seem to remember bids in excess of $20K) and so they are moving it around????

Roto-dinette, option on 1975-77 rear bath units.

They also fold flat as a second bed.

Peanut originally had that option; closest thing to can get to a bench seat motorhome.

If it's the one I'm thinking of I don't think it ever sold. There was one on ebay for $49k for a while and it kept dropping price. I stopped paying attention to it a long time ago.

The only other RV I have seen with that bench seat that flips over to become part of the dinette or flat to become a bed was the Vixen RV. Perfect for when BOTH your girlfriends want to ride upfront.

It is not the same unit. The previous one had the bottom half re-painted white, wood floors, different upholstery, and was advertised as needing a transmission on Craigslist before it hit Ebay.

This is the old one.

Very hard to find Airstream 250 Classic on Ebay. Thin on details, but looks like a later model so will come with the 4L80E overdrive
