Someone could make quite a bit of profit parting it out. I could list a dozen parts I'd take.

Considering it's location I'm expecting it to end up in Peter's back yard.....

I was looking at the rims......all there except the back passenger tag seems to be steel, not alloy; but for a couple of hundred dollars, why not?

PS I almost bought a 1991 Land Yacht in Quebec for $3,500 as it had a complete set of alloys and other parts I could have used.
It's closer to you, Bob and the exchange rate would mean you're paying $2,650.00

If it would end up in my backyard, I would restore it. Looks too nice to scrap, besides the problem of getting rid of the carcass.
I am on my Airstream restoring summer break anyway, we had 110 degrees yesterday in the shade. Not a good time to be messing around out there.

1986 Airstream 345 EBay
I emailed the owner and he was told a individual bought it from an RV place in San Antonio. He drove it away and according to him the brakes failed and he went over the curb or something. He sued the RV place and the insurance company eventually settled and totaled it. Doesn't look like much damage but getting it brought home would be an issue. Tried UShip and no takers

I had an 86 345 transported 800 miles back in 2010 for a cost of $1000 ($1200 if you include the tip).
I believe we found the guy on Yesterdays Tractor, he said he was a "hot shot" trucker. Great guy, worked his @ss off right beside me as we hauled the 345 out of the woods and onto his trailer.
The biggest issue I see with this particular 345 is the left front fender. It's gonna be tough to find a replacement.

It sold for ~2500, flashed by really fast. Too much for the work involved. Right lower rear segment to repair front left fender.

I’ve been trying to find a shipper to transport my 94 360 from Colorado to Michigan. No takers.
Going out in September to drive it back. Just been difficult putting the time together attending to my mom’s care.

Hey Kota, my schedule is quite flexible and I'd be happy to go quite soon and drive your rig back east for you.
If I remember correctly, you had it pretty well sorted out before you left Colo. Spending some time on the road in a DP 360 would be a treat to experence.
Just cover the expenses and I'm all over it.
Send me a pm if this is of interest for you.
Cheers Richard

Since the front panel is no longer available, the only chance to get the compound curve is to do a partial over lay starting at the fold under the side window with a rear right lower Trailer panel, which is, last I checked, still available. Have to find the drawing I did some time back for this fellow from England. Not sure if he ever followed up on it.

Is burning man the only reason people out west buy rvs?
Based on CL posts I would be inclined to think it is

Uh, no, its actually driven by the need to get out of the SoCal high desert during the summer.
For example, it's 111 degrees Fahrenheit out here right now. Sure glad I'm working INSIDE...
