Tony buy all of these for the same price:
https://sanantonio.craigslist.org/rvs/6209273712.html -1988 345 $14,000
https://austin.craigslist.org/rvs/6208450138.html -same old 1985 345 now only $3650
https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/rvs/6192481681.html - the 79 down in corpus $3500
https://austin.craigslist.org/rvs/6120294001.html - 79 excella $10k

This could give you a real nice 345 for the weekends and an awesome 79 for weekdays (And in my case a lot of trouble with my neighbors.)

The airstream in Calgary is from John Henry he is on airforums. I spoke with him on the phone about a window. Really nice guy he's put time into his coach he goes by jhenry on here. With usd conversion it's $31000usd a roadworthy coach that's on the road every year I think it's a good buy for America.

Don't they have like a Cadillac ranch in Texas, with all sorts of Caddy's buried in the ground? You could do the very same with AS motorhomes Peter easily with all the AS Classics for sale in Texas all the time. We see one up here and we get all excited.

Same here with the neighbours.....not one with a diesel.

Cheers
Tony

Tony, until recently there was exactly that.

"Airstream Ranch" near Tampa in Florida. Sadly it has been torn down. : - (

At 175K, he should have taken pictures from a little further away and maybe added some interior shots?
At first glance:
rear AC was replaced with non matching one.
Missing 3 awnings
Even if stored indoors, rubber and plastic is still 30 years old.
35k, maybe

One too many zeros if you ask me.

Boy that Paul and Tam unit is sitting pretty low in the suspension and only one roof air?.

Cheers

It definitely needs front springs.

Here's the response from a request to see it, check out the systems, and a test drive. You can drive if you are more comfortable.

"Let me your email and I will send you all the information and pictures. Thanks!"

Definitely a scam.

Speaking of deals, that 95 diesel pusher is now at 25k buy it now. I wish I got that kind of deal on mine!
Needs a headliner (like mine) and a couple other details, but looks solid.

The screen shot of the listing in Post #2048 says it has new front air suspension which only inflates when the engine is running. Does this explain the lowness at rest?

Thanks

Amazing how the price on these things is all over the place. At $25k I'd expect someone to jump on it.

That 290 for $4750 looks like pretty good deal too.

The front airbags merely offer a thousand pound assist for compression of the front springs (sort of like an air shock). The springs are what sets ride height.

Cheers

I reread that a couple times and I'm not sure what he is saying, could be that he's referring to the rear airbags inflate only when the motor is running...wasn't very clear from the verbiage.

Anyway, alternator not working, airbags question...just how many "work arounds" have they done? That stuff scares me, you might run into many many "mods" trying to get it in shape. I can see how you could make solar recharge chassis and motor electrical demands on the DIESEL but just cause you can make it work doesn't mean you should do it that way.
