Classic Diesel Pusher bathroom
Hi classic owners, what's with the bathroom in the Classic Diesel Pushers? Really...carpet, and what's with the angle and placement of the toilet?
Has anyone looked at moving the sink or toilet across the hall, or come up with any clever ideas for a better design?
Any floor shower, and tile ideas? Photos are always great!
Thanks, SebasSF

Classic Diesel Pusher bathroom
Nothing too fancy. Just vinyl on the floor and a chair height toilet. It fits nicely out of sight.

We call it the Comfocrapper 5000!
It fits on the existing flange without modification except for removing the screws and rotating.
The 94 will get a more serious bathroom makeover.

One other thought: the bathroom faucet pulls out and serves as a sprayer. You can order the toilet without the sprayer.

Thanks for the tip Kota. What are you thinking for the 94?

Dometic toilets
The new Dometic ceramic toilets have a very smooth finish that seems to keep them clean.

Classic Diesel Pusher bathroom
I was unhappy that the one installed by the PO when it failed and they don't sell parts. The dump gate stuck after sitting for the winter and a pin in the pedal sheared. But I couldn't find one I liked as well so I bought another. Grease the gate valve and make sure it works freely before stepping on it after storage. I think the tank sanitizer jammed it.
It always flushes clean and has never beached a whale!

We are currently tiling our bathroom floor with 1" x 2" travertine subway tile. Looks really good. Carpeting in the bathroom was disgusting and we put up with it as long as we could stand it. They also used to do it in houses in the 90s. Ugh!

I will use a sanded grout since it's a floor rather than a wall. Will be stronger.

Looking forward to seeing photos. I was looking at tile over the weekend...there is some cool stuff out there.
How hard would it be to take out a closet across from where the toilet is now, and move the sink or toilet over, then center and move back the toilet in the new space- the I would think moving the sink would be a better option. The 36 has plenty of storage, so not much lost there.

Our bathroom was in good condition when we got the Moho but ugly. I decided to embrace the gold and work with it. I put up a grass cloth with a gold metallic thread in it. The gold is very muted. I put up a back splash and tiled around the shower. We changed out the faucet for a brass one and put new hardware on the cabinets. We pulled the carpet and put in wood which matched the kitchen floor. Finally we replaced the toilet and moved the position so it is parallel with the hall. It changed things but kept the general feeling of the coach.
