Yep!
Should be around 42 ohms which should be 2.5 amps, or 275 watts. Mine all added up I crammed 400 watts worth in.

Try putting some flooring over the mats and letting the flooring get hot, you might notice it more. Also, 60* toes are infinitely better in the morning than 30* toes!!! And when it's in the 40s or 50s out for that fall or spring camping you'll be able to get the floor as hot as you like

Hmm..... the “Warmly Yours” floor heating that I installed in the 370LE draws 3 amps for the rear system and 2 amps for the front system. I am able to maintain 72 degrees inside with the floor thermostats set to 80 in 32 degree weather outside. Have you tried a “Thermal Imager” gun to see if all the mats are heating up ? I added 2” styrofoam insulation under the motor home that may be helping my readings out. Regards,Bob

I think your styrofoam is making a big difference. I only have 1/4” insulation under the ply. Confirmed the mats are all heating up. At 30 deg outside, these are the floor temps (with furnace on) non heated vs heat mat. It does help, but don’t think its enough to be our only heat source

Looks about right, 200Watts will never be a main heat source but from experience that'll be the difference between needing slippers in the morning vs comfortably barefoot, and if it's 60s ish nice and cozy warm on the feet

And yea, the floor is a huge heat loss, the plywood doesn't insulate hardly at all on its own, foam underneath will make a huge difference

We got the floor down, really happy with this DIY!

Haven’t done tile before, and seem to have residual grout haze. I can’t seem to clean off with grout sponge or cloth...suggestions?

Try ‘cleaning strength’ vinegar and a bit of water mixed in to help cut the haze. A bit of scrubbing with a piece of burlap cloth or a stiff brush also helps. Rinse thoroughly with several changes of clear water.

Professional tile folks use acid, but it’s way too dangerous for amateurs like me and you.

There are products safer than acid for removing that residue.
Check out Home Depot. I got some grout residue cleaner there
to clean the brick on my chimney. It did the trick!

Because I used a vinyl tile grout, doesn’t seem to clean up with regular grout cleaner. I tried a couple products with no luck...moving on

Had an interesting experience wrestling the fresh fill hose back on. Despite this measurement, it was definitely not a 1.25” hose. The new one tore as I was re installing, so I ordered the next 2 bigger sized hoses and The 1 3/8” hose fit best. I believe the original was too small as well resulting in couple tears at the fitting, and the most extensive area of water damage/subfloor rot (under the fresh tank)

Tank is now installed with 3/8 air gap to allow any water under the tank to dry

Found your thread this morning; impressive work. You are skilled in many areas, your motorhome is going to be sweet and reliable. I was impressed with your tv consol with the lift. I'm trying to convince my son to install a lift set up in his rv; he's not convinced. Could you give me a cost estimate on the hardware?

Thank you, it’s been a great project. I’m amazed at how long all the finishing steps are taking. I imagine this is why there are partial renovations out there

We are using this lift for the TV. It was a better reviewed unit, some of the cheap ones have reliability issues. It also telescopes in 3 sections allowing the tv to extend beyond the cabinet box perfectly. The lid attached to the mount, not hinged to the box. Could be done either way, but the way I mounted the lid is no moving parts and nothing to rattle

Otherwise about 20 board feet of oak and extensive use of Kreg tools/hardware. I would guess about $350 total cost, aside from cost of the TV

We got the 32” furrion with built in sound bar. Has some great features and super lightweight

Finished and mounted the picture door covering control panels, fished out some long lost speaker wire I installed in 2019 and installed speakers (driven by the TV built in zone-2 amp)

I was ready to put the entry step insert back in...but cringed at the dirty black plastic and decided against re-using it. Instead made an insert stained the same as cabinet and tread the same flooring tile used throughout. Aluminum angle used for moulding

This project wasn’t on my to-do list, but worth it!

Getting the bathroom finished as well, spent the better half of an afternoon getting the shower wall curve “just right”

I have a spare insert for anybody who has a broken one...it will not be going back!

Your double step sure is nice! After the new 8R19.5 tires and correcting the rear airbag height, I have a pretty high first step...My parents have complained🤷*♂️

Same here Peter! I have one if you want!

You can not go wrong with the double steps. Electric and works great and will go up when it's suppose to!

After the wife fell of the single on the 310 step, it was a must for the double steps!

Emojis on this forum are broke as my furnace...Oh well. Already replaced igniter, sail switch, and safety shut off.

The suburban nt30s was making one helluva screech and the motor was running a little slow. Replaced motor and gasket today, and emptied out a pile of rust from the heat exchanger (with a few wasp carcasses). No holes in the heat exchanger noted

Fan spins silently now, hoping this increases air volume it moves. The old one was just kind of wafting warm air out of the vents

Make sure you have a good carbon monoxide detector...

Had 3 family members get airlifted to the hospital for CO leak in their rv and almost didn't make it. I put it up there with brakes tires and steering for things I don't mess around with.

My $.02
