Ceiling vent fan

When we bought our '82 310 last August, the ceiling fan in the galley area was working but noisy. After removing the fan motor to clean & lube etc. I bench tested & it ran great & quiet too. After reinstalling it wouldn't work at all & after checking, the wire leads are not hot. The only fuse panels I know of are the 12v panel under the dash & the small panel below the ice maker in front of the converter. If a fuse is blown under the dash I could easily overlook it or actually I can barely look at it. The fuses in the other panel appear to be OK. What am I missing? How are these wires routed & where does this fan get power from?
(This is the crank up vent in the ceiling center in front of the fridge not the exhaust fan over the range.)
Thanks for any help----- Pete

My light overhead same position is not working. I don't have an exhaust fan there but sounds like same problem. It worked at one time but now is not. I know this doesn't help you but I think I see a pattern.
