I need some help with my CB Antenna. I broke the original antenna that came on our 1991 LY mounted just behind the drivers door. I don't know much about CB's never had the need for one until we started to caravan. The problem is finding a replacement for this antenna which appears to be a "duel band", and I don't know what that means. The coax goes into a split box and feeds both the radio and the CB. The only CB shop near me is at a truck stop and they have no knowledge of old parts. Did a search online for old antennas, but I really don't know what I am looking for. Any help would be good.
If you have a local HAM club they might be able to help. Some of the old timers are very knowledgable about anything radio.

Do you know what a learning experience is? A learning experience is one of those things that says "You know that thing that you just did? Don't do that."
Perhaps you can post a couple of photos of the antenna mount and box? Are there any markings at all on the box? Even though the whip fell off, do you still have it? Perhaps with a bit more information the collective resources on Airforums can help.

I do have the old antenna, it broke in half, I cut off the bent part on both halves and pushed it back together. The radio will pickup strong stations but nothing on the CB. I will try for local Ham clubs, never thought of them. Thank you all for your suggestions.
